I’ve chanted that many a time…never once did I really want the player to pass away on the field.
Soon we will be chanting: “Who’s the stroker of non sexual parts of the body, whilst wearing a darker jersey than the others?!!!”. Or “Luke Williams’ peace force with no noticeable mental health issues!!!”
F**k me! 🤦♂️ Sorry, I mean… touch me softly, and not in a sexual manner. Please! 🙏
But that means the clubs one point ahead of them will also need promotion form -1 point.
They way I see it, Derby and Plymouth don’t need promotion form, they only need better form than the team ahead of them and only by 1 point. So 1 draw more than them. Seems so simple.
What I don’t get, from what the county guy says. Montague doesn’t have access to football radar, unless Notts C lease it to us. Can’t see why they would do that. And if they would, what’s the need for Montague if we have access to football radar?
The county guy keeps saying that Football Radar is owned by the brothers, but keeps crediting Montague with finding all these players 🤷♂️ Is it the software, or the man? Why do we need both?
It really seems like the guy is saying that RM will be successful IF County agree to lease us the program. Seems pointless without it. He has no football club work experience without it, does he?
And on a different note… Why would Luke lie about recommending him? What would be the point in that?
How come you say Derby are gone, when they aren’t even in the relegation zone? Also Plymouth need a good run of form to avoid, even though they are only 1 point from safety?
Williams clearly picks his team from the data available on the tech the players wear. Franco obviously showed fatigue on the computer. I think it’s as simple as that.
LW constantly brags up the data.
Apparently the boys put more effort into the WBA draw than all but one other game this season. And that was at the end of a 3 game week.
He said harry not guaranteed to get back in. Tbh I’d like to see KN given another hour at least. He enjoyed himself there and looks like it suited him down to the ground from what I saw.
He talked about the 3 at the back due to losing Grimes. Looks like this is our new formation. He clesrly saw a lot of good things, along with fans being happier. A new set up and a We have a plan b now 🙏🙏🙏 think it is the best thing that could have happened. Forced the manager to change tactics, which look like could be just what we needed. O’Brien looks like he fits in to the team perfect. Suddenly we even have 1 class CB too many 😂
He talks about combining the players” fight, like against Bristol c, with attacking threat. That’s abvioisly what we need, but it was good to see the battle and grit in the performance the weekend. If we can see that every game…winning 50-50s etc…we can then afford to be more adventurous in attack. As we would have more confidence in winning the ball back once lost.
So what’s the crack with this Football Radar thing then? Only Swansea and Notts County can use it? How is it better than all th other data driven program thingys? 🤷♂️
That midfield does sound tasty. O’Brien looked very good in what I saw today. Definite upgrade .
Who knows, maybe our managers have been forced to “play to our strengths” since grimes has come into the first team and felt the need to play that way. Maybe now the shackles are off. A new type of CM takes a new type of play. Williams said himself , he now needs to find the best way to play (post grimes).
Interesting he states that LW told him how we are going to be moving the ball forwards as quickly as possible and he thinks he fits well into that type of game (Y)
Mate, it’s been put on their official Swansea site. They know what he’s said. It seems to me that Williams was very confident in what he was saying in the interview. Even smiling. I don’t think Williams was worried about what may happen and it seemed like he knew he could say these things.
IMO Williams is pally pally with his seniors and it’s like a family circle/political party type vibe. Blame everyone else and keep smiling.
I agree. He didnt get cold feet after viewing our facilities, academy and area. Wasn’t the money. So what was it? Must have been the atmosphere or the people he met here.
What I find strange, is that he has been allowed to speak in this way. It has even been posted on the official scfc site, so the bosses he was throwing under the bus, seem to be allowing him to do it.
That says a lot to me…
Seems like he is close to them and more friendly, than a normal working relationship. That’s not healthy and I think that is what is keeping LW in a job. He certainly seems to think his job is safe, or he wouldn’t be slinging senior management, the recruitment team and the CEO under a vehicles.
Luke looked pretty excited when talking about the new man. Seemed like he knew him.
But then apparently we would have to offer Montague “a lot of money”, which doesn’t seem anything like what we do here.
Plus, LW job looks like being safe if he does come, which doesn’t seem right either.
The way Luke was talking in the Bristol pre match, seemed to me like he was sticking up for his friends and work mates, who aren’t very experienced and need a little help. It didn’t seem like he was talking about his boss and his seniors. From what I heard there, it seems Williams is safe.Hes been allowed to blame the chairman and his staff.
He seemed quite jovial and even cocky. So now Williams has complete permission to say and do what he wants,as he’s been told it’s not his fault.
