| Forum Reply | THE FUTURE at 13:07 8 Jan 2015
I havent read the entire thread (just jumping on my lunch break) I dont believe there will be a future for BFC at Bloomfield Rd. Oyston will run the club into the ground, then use Bloomfield Rd for property development. Oyston is on a Revenge Mission; I believe it stems from the "spitting" incident his mother endured from one of our pleasanter supporters.. He despises the average Blackpool Supporter; he has no interest in football. He won the lottey with Ollie and now is the time for his revenge.. I see our Future is in a complete rebuild from the bottom up .... a bit like Wimbledon did some years back.. |

When you use these facts, there's really no need to even comment about why 80 year old Owen Oyston appears at games with girls who look in their 20's. Or ask why, when and for how long he was such good friends with convicted paedophile Stuart Hall. I agree. Why would you comment about why 80 year old Owen Oyston appears at games with girls who look in their 20's. Or ask why, when and for how long he was such good friends with convicted paedophile Stuart Hall? I'm unsure whether a convicted rapist who appears at games with girls who look in their 20's; or ask why, when and for how long he was such good friends with convicted paedophile Stuart Hall could be of any relevance at all. Hey Ho, such is life. These sort of questions are probably best left to the appropriate authorities... |
| Forum Reply | Why would Oldham want Ched Evans at 12:37 8 Jan 2015
Perhaps even convicted rapists need a chance once they have served their term...? BFC failed miserably.. |
| Forum Reply | Ched Evans? at 13:12 17 Oct 2014
I think we should sign him, if available. Yes, he has committed a vile offence; however he has now served his time and should be allowed the freedom to move on. Apparently he is not a serial offender, nor a particularly violent one (although rape is obviously violent in its nature). Give him the chance to prove he is rehabilitated. |
| Forum Reply | One way ticket for Bart! at 12:19 4 Sep 2014
Absolutely emabarrasing and disgusting situation.... I support Barts position and decision, the man cannot live on no wage! As for Jose Riga....well, I hope he doesnt give in just yet, although I wouldnt be suprised to see him go if he got a good offer. I believe he may be "made of sterner stuff" and will not want to give in to our clown of a Chairman. I am a contractor; I'd have gone same as Bart.... (and have done in the past) [Post edited 4 Sep 2014 12:20]

| Forum Reply | Was Ollie really that good? at 20:58 31 Aug 2014
Yes he was. Yes he had a good squad when he arrived and having reasonable success under Tony Parkes; Tony may have even improved further if he been given the chance. What Olly brought was skilful football and an attacking style, a motivated team and an absolute belief in his system; add to that his man management/motivation and hey presto! We were in the Prem and the "breathe of fresh air" that all the pundits latched onto ... Not to mention everyone's second favourite team (except the knob Enders) My opinion is that we went up a season too early. Another season in the championship may have given us time to consolidate our playing style and go up on automatic. I think we would have had a better chance of staying up if that were the case... Unfortunately Olly, like everyone else , had our esteemed chairman to deal with |

This site needs time and consistent postings, hopefully it will mature into a vibrant site. It deserves to; layout and facilities are all better than the old site. Although I did notice the status of the scoreboard at the bottom of the chatroom didnt update once during the match ... well, not on my ipad.. Having said that, I am not a good forumite, hardly ever post ... just lurk. |

Agree, without being there the news seemed positive, team showing some good moves and gameplay. UTMP! |
| Forum Reply | Anyone else feel nothing for this team yet? at 12:47 6 Aug 2014
I like the sound of what is happening: Good Manager Reasonably good players KO now appears to have started to "Put Football First" ...... only time will tell.. I refuse to try and pretend I know how these players will gel as a team. Assuming Jose Riga is as good a manager as Charlton clearly think, and he can motivate these players into a team..then; We may have a rough start to the season, but I can feel a great end to it even challenging for Play-off places. OldSkool I agree with most of your post, I was quite cynical but with an open mind, prior to this experience. I'm pretty sure I watched Derren Browns programme, and many others exposing fakes. There are many con(wo)men out there. You are right, he didnt mention my family name. The personal things he did mention though were not available in my eyes nor on my face. Experiences I had undergone, in private life and military life ... sorry, but no way could he have the skills to get that info. If he does/did then he is wasting his life painting walls. In later years I asked freinds what they knew about him ..... nobody realy knew him, I just got back generalisms .... "oh, he's a quiet lad", "aye, hes a bit of a strange one" etc. Personally I would be amazed to find out he used information gathering skills ..... Still creeps me out... |

It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change. Not, apparently, a Darwin Quote.. |

I suspect our (quantum) energy (spirit/soul) moves around forever ... I had a meeting with a complete stranger who gave me messages from my Dad, Grandad and GrGrandad. I moved to a remote area of the UK in '98. Went into the local town at xmas, into a boozer. As I walked in I saw a lad behind the bar, who was staring at me .... Busy bar, managed to get a seat with mrs ceecyder, sat down and this lad had come over, asked if he could sit with us, pulled up a chair and said he had a message for me..... He talked for a while and asked me if I knew Richard .... I didnt, he sat looking deep in thought and started sweating .... then mentioned Thomas and Les (Grandad and Dad) told me alot of things that he genuinely could not have known.. Then stumbled onto something I didnt know; asked me "did you go to the funeral?" I havent been to a funeral for years I told him... He then started getting agitated and sweating more, mumbled something about how he shouldnt have aske me that ...... apologised and asked me to get in touch if I wanted to. Never seen the lad before that evening, and only had a few aquaintences at that time in the area....nobody knew anything about me or my family. Richard, I found out later was my Gr Grandad. The funeral happened .... I chose not to go.. Nearly 20 yrs later and it still gives me the creeps....how did he know this stuff?? Sadly, it creeped me out so much, I didnt contact him until a few years later when I saw him at work (he was a painter and decorator). I thanked him for talking to me but didnt ask for anymore messages....... |
