| Your Report | Queens Park Rangers v Watford Your Report added at 06:47:45 Surely the low player marks are more a reflection of the result than their actual performance? I understand it’s an incredibly frustrating result but with the exception of Willock couldn’t fault the performance individually, largely outplayed a team with a far superior squad and pushing for the playoffs. |
| Your Report | Queens Park Rangers v Sunderland Your Report added at 19:00:01 Although intensely frustrating I did at least feel the effort was there, we were the better side for first 25mins and came out of the second half and gave it a really good go. I’ve been really upset with some of the performances (Hull and Fleetwood to name two) this was clearly better although ultimately a results game. Had the keeper not kept his foot out for the penalty could have been a very different result. |
| Your Report | Queens Park Rangers v Wigan Athletic Your Report added at 09:43:13 First 20mins we looked very good but struggled after that, I’m sure Wigan felt they were worth a draw. Wigan appeared to overload their wings which caused us problems and prevented Laird especially from being able to get forward. We were too pedestrian at times and lacked creativity, when under pressure from Wigan we had little more and the long ball. |
| Your Report | Queens Park Rangers v Cardiff City Your Report added at 09:06:42 The better team before the penalty, which was just about correct but never a red, and then completely controlled the match after, could easily have scored many more. Very difficult to select individuals for MOM, a complete team performance |
| Your Report | Sheffield United v Queens Park Rangers Your Report added at 23:17:55 After a worrying first 15mins we settled down and played some good stuff. The tactical switch by Beale seemed to work really well and meant they created very little late on. Great win against a very good side. |
| Your Report | Queens Park Rangers v Blackpool Your Report added at 22:34:04 I’m amazed at the immense criticism levelled at the team and our overall performance. This was only the new Manager’s 4th game and without our best player, we dominated large sections of the match had far more possession but failed to take our chances. I’m convinced that sometimes hysterical reaction to a loss (online especially) is driven purely by result without actual performance being seriously considered. I was bitterly disappointed with the but we will play far worse and take points (Saturday for example). The problem lies with our striking options, Dykes may try hard but fails to get in position and isn’t a finisher. Armstrong has pace, power and enthusiasm but we can’t rely on a player with no league experience, I feel we have to bring someone in. I was really disappointed with Paal also, let’s hope he can adapt quickly to this league or we have a problem in this position also. |
| Your Report | Coventry City v Queens Park Rangers Your Report added at 09:09:40 Another match which really could have gone either way, Cov must feel hard done by to come away with nothing. Credit to Rangers for being strong at the back and grinding out another great result. |
| Your Report | Birmingham City v Queens Park Rangers Your Report added at 14:12:47 Not much between the team’s on this showing but we always looked like we had a bit more quality going forward and despite Birmingham seeing more of the ball in our half than I would have liked Seny had very little to do. |
| Your Report | Derby County v Queens Park Rangers Your Report added at 16:18:33 Really good team performance, we passed the ball so well, always looked much more dangerous and really limited Derby to a couple of efforts can hardly remember a Seny save. Well done MW and the team. Willock and Chair are becoming an excellent pair, let’s hope we can keep hold for them this season must be starting to attract interest from elsewhere. |
| Your Report | Fulham v Queens Park Rangers Your Report added at 18:15:55 Strange match, poor first half followed by a throughly decent start to the second, got the equalizer and were on top. As soon as Fulham got their second which was a great finish (no foul for me) we fell apart and didn’t have an answer. 4v1 quite harsh considering we were the more likely to win with 25mins to go. |
| Your Report | AFC Bournemouth v Queens Park Rangers Your Report added at 12:01:25 Although it was a good comeback, we were only inches away from going 3 down when they hit the inside of the post. Weren’t good enough for fist 60mins and our stirring comeback possibly papered over the cracks a little. Understand Stroud gets a lot of criticism but for me he did quite well last night. |
| Your Report | Reading v Queens Park Rangers Your Report added at 13:22:57 McCallum worried me, really struggled. I’m not sure Austin is fit, never been the quickest but looks like he is unable to get around the pitch. Willock MOM for me, great from Adomah when he came in. Ref got a lot of stick but I do like the way they are letting a lot go. Amazing atmosphere, felt like a win in the end. |
