Gazzaniga's "slippery moments" were more down to the ball being soaking wet as anything else. The first one he actually caught the ball cleanly but it slipped *upwards* before he had to catch it again. As you say he dealt with it well though and it was noticable he started punching the ball more 2nd half to try and avoid letting the ball slip in the area.
My only real downside was Steve de Ridder - someone teach the man to cross and pass the ball. He can't seem to do the former and keeps choosing the wrong one when it comes to the latter. But that's not really news. |

Kelv is a great role model for our younger players and I don't see why he can't stay on in a back-room capacity as a mentor to them, at least until he gets his badges. Then if he's right for us keep him as a GK coach. If the smallest bit of his loyalty gets passed on to our teenagers it'll be well worth it.
Even if it's done some other way, I do hope the club repay his loyalty to us in some way & personally I think that they will. |

If you didn't mouth off to the Echo and try to pass yourself off as the so often as the "voice of the fans" I might have some sympathy - as it is I trust my club you and your 'trust' |
