| News Comment | Barnsley aim for survival after rebuild - Interview at 00:42:40
It's not a selling policy, but more of a forced selling policy. A club like Barnsley has to hope that there are 3 teams weaker than them for the next few seasons. Given time they might be able to stabilise and push on in the Championship. I think it will be a battle between Bolton, Birmingham, Sunderland, Barnsley, Ipswich and Brentford in terms of relegation. |
| News Comment | QPR celebrate Loftus Road anniversary in fine style - Report at 01:07:11
Good display on our part but Ipswich didn't even turn up. They'll be in the bottom 3 come end of the season, mark my words. Only players I'd sign for us from there are Bialkowski (GK) and Spence (Defender), rest of the team look League 1 bound and they might struggle there. Surprised they are still in this division TBH. Baptiste won everything in the air and ground and was stand-out MOTM. Luango destroyed them in midfield and thought Scowen was superb. But we will face much tougher tests than this one. Can't believe they managed 2-1, travesty of justice given the amount of ball we had! |
| News Comment | Ipswich visit brings up 100 not out — Preview at 23:23:36
Super piece of journalism. We have nothing to worry about with this one. Ipswich are a poor team that have overperformed. Come seasons end they'll be fighting to stay in this division. They're poor in midfield and poor in defence and if we get some high balls to Smith we'll win this easy. Should start celebrating from the off lads as this is going to be the easiest home game we get this season. I can't even understand how this bunch of frees and loans is even still in this division. Their goalkeeper is the only thing between us getting double figures. Read somewhere that they've only shot at goal like 12 times all season! My prediction is wave after wave of us attacking and scoring goals whilst watching their goalkeeper flying round like Suoerman in between the net. Going to enjoy this one and hope to get a good burger at half time when we're 5-0 up. Time to put this bunch of overachievers to the sword. |
| News Comment | Will Big Mick have the last laugh? — Opposition Profile at 02:48:37
They are not a force to be reckoned with and have been very lucky so far. I do believe we will hammer them, and may well put 6 or 7 past them. Their Goal-Keeper is extraordinary, but they are full of defensive errors as a team and are an accident waiting to happen. Play Smith up front, he'll destroy their makeshift CB pair with his strength and power. We will have an anniversary to remember lads. My estimate is 7-0. At 35-1 odds that's easy money in the bank. |
| News Comment | The future’s Bright - Signing at 06:36:17
Team against Ipswich: Alex Smithies Darnell Furlong Nedum Onuoha Steven Caulker Jake Bidwell Massimo Luongo Josh Scowen Luke Freeman Bright Osayi-Samuel Mathieu Smith Conor Washington We will absolutely slaughter them with this line-up. Looking forward to really giving a weak and injury hit team like Ipswich a good thrashing. |
| News Comment | One for now? Signing at 05:06:49
Actually quite happy with this signing, and think we easily have enough now to compete for a top 6 finish. |
