Good to see them being more open to fans. Suspicious that the 70% line is more of the ‘top 50% physically’ unverifiable statistic silliness

Leaving by Wendy Cope.

Next summer? The summer after?
With luck we've a few more years
Of sunshine and drinking and laughter
And airports and goodbyes and tears.

Still played like a team who’d bet heavily on relegation at points but my god am i willing to ignore that just for a moment. Hope willock’s back with us like that for more matches.

If he gets a third for the hat trick i’ll sing his praises. Pretty good dykesy

From my point of view, lots of positives to take. Not immediately dropping heads and letting a team run riot after scoring. Should have made the most of our chances and won though.

Gareth Ainsworth Wellbeing!

Will choose to remember him as the manager that saved us from a near certain relegation, and if I ever see him around will certainly offer to buy him a drink. What’s been and gone is regrettable but even if you’d call me one-eyed I’m choosing to see past some of the failings.

Just noticed the article doesn’t actually note the length of contract. Concerning or just a rush to get it out?

In terms of reactive v proactive, this appears more the latter and warnock would appear more the former. But could just be a case of the devil you don’t know. I don’t mind taking a risk though given i’d take about anything to ounch us out of this mediocre downwards sludge

Would have loved to have seen it go right, and maybe in other circumstances it could’ve done. But the writing was on the wall. Get Eustace in asap.

As an aside, if they were having him take the Leicester game and he’d won it, would they have sacked him like Farke at Naarwich?

Sort of wish they’d stayed stuck. Is it still a 3-0 automatic forfeit? Might be a better scoreline than we get… anyway, going for a hopeful 1-0 win.

Rather slit my own throat. Respect to those with the opposite view, entirely entitled to it, merely I don’t share it at all.
