Maybe a good stamp would stop him scoring another worldie. Show him the other side and he’s a completely different player. If you ask the Green Army how to stop them playing, that’s the general response. Deft with the left, shite with the right. |

Can he cover left back in case of injury ? If not, maybe a loan to Barnett or Brushden and Diamonds is on the cards ? |

All the good news and updates are becoming somewhat disconcerting considering it’s only the 17th of January. Very un-QPR, but very welcome. |

Yes, it would appear to be the case but we simply don’t/won’t know for sure unless others are allowed to speak to us - so back to dictatorship/censorship. The best leaders are absolutely defined by their colleagues, teammates and partners. They ask for appraisals of themselves (not you), actively seek your opinion/feedback/POV, support your development and progress, improve your performance, enhance your skills etc etc etc. Once in your career, if you are lucky, you sometimes get to work with someone like that and work isn’t such a massive pain in the arse anymore. It’s fun, productive, engaging and rewarding all of a sudden. Much like when QPR actually win a few times in a row, which I mostly attribute to Marti’s leadership approach and the resulting turn around in MOST players’ performances. Now that our winter break (sponsored by J Lynch & Co), AKA The FA Cup is out of the way, I trust we can return to this promised land by clumping the Janners, all the way along the A303. |

That’s not really the definition of Leadership. If you have an idea and stick to it regardless, you are likely to come seriously unstuck if you refuse to change your mind when required and don’t garner the right support from the team you lead. That’s more like a benevolent dictatorship. I would suggest that there are several styles of leadership but overall it’s the ability of an individual, group, or organisation to "lead", influence or guide others rather than have an idea and stick with it regardless. That takes vision, buy in, support and execution to be successful. Take Steve Cook’s style, which I would describe as leading by example. He does a lot of organising and talking on the pitch, then backs that up with 100% effort and commitment. Then expects the others to go with him, which they mostly do. It raises everyone’s game and brings the team together. Exactly what you want from your captain. Jimmy Dunne is the same type of leader and has stepped up in Steve’s absence. Nourry can’t take that approach so he’s got to work out another way of leading and so far, it’s not clear what that’s going to develop and it’s somewhat compounded because he’s young and he’s not done this type of work before, certainly not at a club like QPR. I hope in time that he takes more of a servant leadership approach but that’s probably not reflective of his character in the limited interviews and communications we have seen to date. Perhaps he’s different with the team around him and also how he works with the owners. I hope that comes out over time and that he learns how/is prepared to adapt quickly. [Post edited 17 Jan 6:25]

That would just suck. But that’s the power of hindsight ! I guess that’s how we got to Saturday’s selection/FA Cup ‘drains up’ and how we ended up with the (Graham) Poll. |

For our colonial friends, the new version of R&R is Rendition and Redaction…maybe we have adopted the same approach and the orange jumpsuits will arrive for new loanees. |

You can find a lot of data and stats on the 365 Scores site. They don’t have everything but what they have is useful and Imagine it feeds the analytics tool that the Betting guys use. Not 100% certain but I think it’s safe to assume that Scores 365 is a BET 365 business that sells/shares some of the data. If not, the name is convenient |

The selections will now potentially become the foundation of a business case to acquire some new players and move some out on loan later this month. Not what it should have been but that’s what I think we saw unfortunately, rightly or wrongly. CHAT-NREE2.0 is currently crunching the numbers (which are nearly always incorrect) and developing a hypothesis based on all the FFP, sustainability and other rules before creating the legal contract for the signatures stored as pictures arr automatically added in a Zoom call review. NDAs, gagging orders and Pre-Nups added as appendices. |

Should we call 20k a ‘Madsen’ such that it can sit alongside a pony and a monkey ? Or is Madsen just pony ? |
