One wonders if this sort of mediocrity is found throughout the whole club. When Levien came he never promised " next level" he did however promise " best in class in all that we do".

Bringing in a man who specialises in "company culture and communication" suggests this was always considered a problem.

It happened with Gomis. He was not a target man but a runner behind.

These players make the run for the passer to hit him. If the passer turns back instead of risking the ball he is high and dry. The ball over the top does not need thinking about.

Swansea are slow of action and mind.

Yes tell him he has played his last game and find a new club. Swansea always s accept decent offers and are always reasonable.

It is in Darlings interest to hand g around and provide hints of hope know ung in reality there is none. Move him o and Wilinas on. One pays for the other.

A sharp rebuke from the sidel of nes deals with this. Connor Roberts typo player would also give them a piece of his mind. Duff suggested this team was far too nice.

You are doing what you always do and go into full destructive mode. It is a failure of human nature and you go there and always done it apparently.

Coleman has cahones the meek Welshmen and women of the fans group do not have. The fans were given the keys to the shop and turned down. They would be looking shrewd now if th £30m in the bank. They were scared of the responsibility and abuse

Coleman needs good football consultants. He looks pretty smart to me. Mourhino was Bobby Robson 's translator.

Williams is not on millions. When he arrived the club were blamed for going " cheap".

Williams has not been brave and buttered up his veterans to earn more time. Telling everyone what a go pro Fulton is while dispensing Abdullai who offers movement not planted feet and clumsiness.

The fans have their own man on the board. No one is quite sure who he is these days. He is a "director" so why is not at the forum. He or she is supposed to " direct". We all know this a nonsense and is for ego purposes and the perks.

Back Coleman is is smart and brave. He will get it right.

The 3.5 year Martinball process has ended in shambles. Even the architects Martin and Grimes have ran away from it leaving Williams holding the "monster" they created. They asked for time and the Americans gave it too them. They believed in cash and were keen to leave when the project came off the rails.

Coleman needs to understand this process of slow walking football has been going on for 40 months. A new philosophy is required. Swansea are driving up a tactical cul de sac and now have got stuck in a ditch where the sewage outfall is.

Coleman can negotiate a pay off with Williams to get him Darling off the payroll.

Swansea now need European experience. The man who led Swansea and the golden land is having growing pains himself at Newport. It is not easy.

Good recruitment makes it a whole lot easier.

Could not th club put Williams on gardening leave in other words not sack him but doing scouting or looking after his roses. Not paying off with a lump sum will then not have PSR concerns as the payment will be spread over. 2.5 years.

Anthony was great a decade back but is well past his sell by date. I worked on the railways and retired when the legs went.

I cannot listen to him any more. He is in easy street as is Wyndam.

Removing the captaincy was absolutely necessary but he had been in the job so long I he probably took it personally. That is my reading of the situation.

"The team lost the will to compete" reflected very badly in the captain and manager. One or both had to go.

Not good for his development. Brighton had the chance for 46 solid games and a season with a highly rated coach as Swansea where he was guarenteed starter. He has exchanged on bench for another bench.

He nay get some cup action perhaps.

Sky sports whose pundits have encouraged England player to walk off games causing chaos I'd f subjected the ethnic slur and have accused EUFA of weakness . This is the same organisation that tolerates ethnic slurs against a Welsh darts player and family and do nothing other than edit it out of the broadcast. Hypocrisy on stilts.

Bradley was hounded out. Bulgarians find monkey chants have comedic value too. I try to be consistent. I carry no guilt burdens.

Presumably Darling is unimpressed with the wages at the Blades and perhaps he has mused if Coleman can do a bit better. This happened with Grimes. Perhaps the Blades told he him he would never get the wages he wants even on a free.

All speculation of course. The captaincy perk has gone elsewhere.

Sky sports tolerate ethnic slurs at their dart events and instead of dealing with it simply turn down the volume. They are weaklings.

A Swansea Trust guy went on Talksport and used this phrase and was rapidly dispatched as a lightweight by Jim White.

Melker in Wales as the purchase and loan back is explained
at 21:56 30 Jan 2025

Swansea had an inferior version of Haarland and sent him back to Brighton four to years ago. Most posters on here bail out the fools that declined to play him and were happy at the cessation of his loan to buy.

This one failed trade is the difference between Coventry and Swansea. A £20m swing.

Swansea were slick with DeGuzman because he was a link man.He linked the defence to the forwards in space. I believe Abdullai does this. Both would run with the ball and collect it and distribute while moving.

Swansea under Laudrup were a well oiled machine and dG was the oil the machine. It is the movement that destroyed Swansea in cup ties v Bournemouth and Southampton. Williams jams does not coach this and got rid of all the runners. Lowe Abdullai Joseph Whittaker.

His idea is to give the ball to a creative player and hope something happens.

No I understand that but he will pay tax on any interest if he returns to UK to live.

£30m in a bond getting 5% is £1.5m. 40% of that is £600k for HM revenue. He can invest in other places but tax claims will follow him around one way or another. Isle of Mann is an option.

If he comes back to UK he has to put the money somewhere unless he is friendly with the ruling elite and HM revenue and off shores his gains.
