Why hasn't any director of football stayed at the club for a long period - to create some stability?

They have all come and gone pretty quickly under the owners since 2016.....

He talks about vital games coming up but I pretty much feel our season is now over.

When a team loses badly to poor teams like Portsmouth and Cardiff then we need to manage our expectations for the rest of the season (= not good for season ticket sales).

our fans should also consider the anti-english chants.
most of our players / management team are english.

and we have a lot of supporters living in England.

Various Swans players have said to me that they just don't get the anti-English hate when the team is full of englishmen.

Potential signings with their agents will be examining Swansea very closely at the moment. We are stuck in a rut and players like Low may now decide to avoid us.

Are we really surprised at the poor recruitment?

Paul Watson said there was no structure or process in place when he joined the club. That has to be the responsibility of the owners.

Watson has left and not been replaced.
And the signings made under Watson - quite a few have to prove themselves and time is running out.

Dan James.....

His failed departure to Leeds in January 2019 sums how chaotic the club was being run. A former chairman having to turn his mobile phone off to prevent a poor deal being agreed.

Are we shocked we are in the mess we are in now....?

I would be amazed if this is not turned down this week. And when it is - we need to move on and move on quickly.

We need to move on and the club needs to concentrate on the "now".
A few big weeks ahead but well done to Andy C for agreeing to join the Trust AGM forum in mid-February.

There have been so many poor decisions on and off the pitch over the last 10 years is it no wonder we are in this current situation.
I am not convinced changing the manager is the solution.
You could put Pep/Klopp/Sir Alex in charge and they would struggle with this team.

Why haven't we appointed an (experienced) sporting director?
