Smyth should not be judged on just goals and assists.
He offers a lot more defensive support than any of the other attacking midfielders and his pace and directness is a constant outlet for us. |

“If the club can't tie Jimmy down to a decent length contract on much improved terms, then for me not only would that be a huge mistake, but if we saw Jimmy elsewhere in the Championship, then that would for me mean the club are sending out a very poor image about what this club is about and also would represent a very poor message to future players here that we are just a club as a temporary home for all”
If Jimmy leaves us to go to the likes of Oxford or Preston then maybe your point is valid but if he goes to the likes of Leeds, Burnley or Middlesbrough on much bigger wages than we could ever offer then there’s not much QPR can do. |

Why damn him with faint praise?
He’s up there with our best players this season: always available, gives 100% every game and runs himself into the ground.
No winger gets every cross right but for opposition defenders he must be a nightmare to play against as he’s so direct.
MOTM for me today in a team full of great performances. |

Wow the moaning and vitriol on here is something to behold.
Frustrating to let in an equaliser but that was a game we all expected to lose easily after the Swansea performance and the team selected today but they all put in a great shift. Makeshift defence in particular stood firm against a very strong attacking team at home.
I’m sure Cifuentes will be pleased with today, as will most supporters. |

Not sure what you’re going on about: that was a very decent first half performance with all the players putting in a real shift. Huge improvement from Boxing Day.
Chair has looked a lot sharper than early in the season.
Fantastic corner from Paal who is doing ok against a decent attack: good run and pass for Anderson’s chance.
Ashby is doing alright as well. |

Back in the day the top teams had very small squads and hardly rotated at all: think Liverpool in the late 70s picked the same team every week wherever possible and a lot of their players must’ve played 50+ games a season.
The game is a lot quicker and more intense now but the players do get rested as long as the squad isn’t decimated by injuries. |

Nourry has made mistakes for sure but it’s made up rubbish to fit the agenda of the few who are desperate to see him gone that make me laugh. So far we’ve had:-
Nourry was going to sack Cifuentes
Nourry was forcing Cifuentes not to play Kolli
Nourry was trying to force Kolli to move to Saudi Arabia
Nourry was seen at the training ground in his own monogramed tracksuit demanding to pick the team/choose tactics
Nourry has frozen out Cifuentes from the recruitment process and made all the signings via his laptop |
