I use a first generation fire "box" the big one not the stick. My internet is crap as but I get a great pic with a HDMI connection.

The only bad thing is I broke the original remote, you cannot get new ones to work so put it on my phone as an app.
It works but often they de-pair which is a tad annoying.

Rhasper (sp) is so much more classy than banger.

Was it Kenneth Wolstenhome to a Bobby Charlton thunderbolt "Oh I say that's a Rhasper" or something similar.

"Oh I say that's a banger" not the same gravitas.

There may have been a keyboard player but the crowd were standing and I was by the sound desk so couldn't see stage left.

At one point it reminded me of Santana at Hammersmith in 1994 but with out the guitar obvs, similar vibe.

The best one in had was from a machine in Islington Spoons in the shopping centre 02 bit about 18 years ago. (was morning and getting breakfast)

It was lovely and came with an Italian biscuit. Machine was small press a button I think, now they look like the Cylons great great grand parents and mostly the coffee is shit.

I never got on with UB40 even as a kid when they were at their peak.

I worked on a BBC new sounds of 2024 show the other night and there was this band on called Ezra Collective drummer, sax, trumpet and bass. (3 black guys and couldn't see the drummer) Really really good!
Jazz fusion around a central 'riff' from Latin sounding to Carnivalesque sax and trompet solo's and all instrumental.

Not sure of the transmission date but some of you guys may like it.
I missed the other 3 bands onebefore apparently 'English teacher" were good.

Watford when we were getting promoted.
Youngish guy with his missus was having an altercation with an older gentleman 50something.
Anyway this older bloke was really up for a row and the young guy backed away, the older guys mates held him back, I didn't hear what was said.

Thought it was weird in our promotion game (in theory).

Did anyone else see that?
