My god, someone is touchy and defensive!! And again with the snide jibes.
I wasn't even talking about you (not everything is about you). You said "it's not what's said but who's saying it that matters" and I was generalising a point that if people deliberately behave in a certain way then they, and only they, are accountable and shouldn't be surprised if people take them to task over it. The issue isn't with others, it's with them. |

I don't know about here in the UK but it's a real problem in the US and colleagues of mine who deal with them really suffer with this. A lot of it is to do with the nature that employees there are so unprotected compared to us and they are schit scared of losing their job so it becomes a very toxic environment.
As with a lot of things, stuff from the US then follows on over here. |

That table at the top is skewed in the sense it includes games in any division so teams promoted will always be higher.
It should only be for Championship games. |

Got two kids since I posted on this and not been back to Turkey. Spain a couple of times and Greece a few times, all with the kids but I’m sure Turkey is still fine. |

I actually quite like the idea of clubs from around the world playing each other. For decades it's been consigned to Europe.
However, it does look like it will really just be a tussle between Europe & South America, the other countries clubs will just be also-rans.
Don't really care anymore about the whole burnout issues (though it may stop all those summer exhibition matches). That's up to the players, the PFA, the clubs, the PL, the EFL, UEFA, FIFA etc etc to all sort out. |
