McGinn is practically a done deal to Celtic, they had initial offer rejected but Rodgers has publicly spoke about wanting the player so deal will be wrapped up i suspect when Celtic cough up a bit more cash as he is in the last year of his contract. Morgan when he was signed wasn't planned immediately to be going into the Celtic first team, however, hes had a good preseason and is likely now to be a bench/last 20 mins player there now and fighting for a start. So I reckon but are highly unlikely, if they were to sign but both very good players. |

Impossible really? Someone with a football brain can't identify a good player simply because of the league they play in. Or is it just the arrogance (which you are demonstrating perfectly) that meant Southampton got a fantastic player at fraction of the price and made £60m profit. Not saying McKenna is another Van Dijk, but I still think to immediately disregard anyone from Scotland is just silly. |

I'm sure this is the very same attitude people had when Van Dijk was mentioned. Look how that turned out, most expensive defender in history. |

Ryan Blair played nearly every game I believe outside injuries last season. Broke his foot first game this season against Liverpool and missed nearly whole first half of season. From what i've seen far more accomplished player than Jack Evans is, who couldnt get in the team for Blair when he was fit. As for Loyal comment, from the loan updates he has started i think 4 of last 5 games when on loan. As we know, clubs dont seem to want to play young guys on loan as they would rather develop their own. |

I really dont get the disdain held towards the u23s players that have been brought in from different clubs and particularly those from Falkirk. Kingsley played well when he got a chance and then sold for a fee far exceeding what we paid. Fulton always gave a good account of himself and can feel hard done by that 'wonderkids' like sanches have forced him out on loan. Blair and Biabi both had loans this season and making first team appearances and no doubt will be on loan somewhere next season to then most likely move on and bring in a small fee. The relatively pitance spent on taking a chance on these is nothing in the grand scheme of things. Other teams such as Man City even use this as a business model buying youngsters then selling them on at premium such as guys like Mooy at Huddersfield. People suggest this should be used on local lads, well it is on those who are good enough, or it should be used on scouting, which we know will unearth 'gems' like Borja, Mesa etc. Clucas was signed for £16 million and is probably on £40-50k a week off of 1 season in the PL. If one of these guys have that same breakthrough then they have paid for the entire academy for a couple of years alone. |

The modern football fan who uses social media figures to gauge the size of a club. Absolutely clueless !!!! |

Trying to watch the game on the live stream but I am only getting the rotating blue circle in the middle of the video like it is buffering. Is anyone else having better luck with it? |

1a. Poor quality league but still a champion of their country, something swansea will never be. It is after all the 'Champions' League. Would you rather it was a closed shop for the likes of Barca, Real, PSG and Bayern. 1b. For such a 'pub' team they seem to get an awful lot of attention on a Swansea forum, i can guarantee for a fact that not a single post has ever been made about Swansea on a Celtic forum. 2. No shame in being beaten of Barca at Nou Camp 7-0. Seem to remember Bayern and PSG both taking 5-0 trouncing there in recent years. Very early in Rodgers tenure too. 3. Sinclair has been invigorated by Rodgers, players can improve as well as go downhill. You seem to have a short memory as Sinclair is one of Swansea's best players in the modern era. 4. 6 drunken idiots don't make an entire fan base. Have you ever actually met a celtic fan or been to glasgow. Lovely people. |

I think swansea fans have delusion of their own granduer and have bought into this idea that world football begins and ends with the PL. How long ago was it swansea were in the fourth tier, swans would never be able to sell out parkhead or ibrox if they paid people to go! |

If everyone brought their own food and drink then that removes the revenue stream, which i imagine is the main purpose of this. |

Good idea, possibly influenced by the american owners. They have a thing similar to this called 'tailgaiting' before NFL, baseball........ |

They are obviously deemed not to be as good as counterparts, irrelevant of their locality. Tyler Reid must be rated better than Roberts, however, it is disappointing to see Van der Hoorn play in this game, waste of a strip he is. Great result regardless |

Should that matter ? It seems to be the norm these days with most clubs. You have to recruit the players from somewhere, at what age group do the players have to start in to be considered 'home grown' or is it purely a nationality thing. |

We have a 'Swans under 23s flying high' directly above a 'the lack of homegrown talent' forum. Hmmmmm......... |
