Even before seeing this thread I said to others that he has the style and movement of Mane though it was hard tp see that in the AFCON. Possibly a gem that must be polished and guarded for the next few years to see his true worth.
I noticed when the CB who I think is called Klarer (tall lad with blonde hair) got subbed on he was very strong at the back winning headers and slid in to block a shot on goal that would have surely been a goal for PNE. Not enough time to make a huge impact but the feeling in my water is not a wee infection, I think he could be decent over the next few seasons... and I am not his intermediary. ðŸ˜
I am happy to be corrected on that one as I have not seen many u23 games.
Why should others pay £570 for a ST because you dont take a kid and £541 if you do? Well it is £50 for a child where as before if you bought two adult ST in family area the child was free. Therefore I pay £591 for a child and adult ticket and I think that is good value for a child ticket. So I believe the argument about that is incorrect but I do agree that a reduction is due if performance is poor. At least it is not 2K like other clubs.
The team no longer have the physically strong spine and there are too many "fancy dan's" in the same line up.
If the team needs a bit of grit or passion then is there nobody in the "world class" academy that can be given the chance like Sims? We need an edge that can only come from doing the basics well and something out of the oridinary that the scouts from other teams are yet to find.
Why can't we bring in a few more of the under 23's into the mix and bring a bit a "fizz" into the team just like Sims does when he has no fear about going forward? This could stop the 1st team thinking they have a right to be first choice. I notice we have a striker in the u23's who has scored 16 goals this season (against lesser opposition I know) but they have nothing to lose and it keeps the opposition guessing rather than putting out a known predictable team every week. This is now down to mind games and seeing who has the balls for the fight as we can no longer rely on goal difference and teams below us to lose.
Safe journey to those going up North and see you in Wigan... UP THE SAINTS... ðŸ‘
