Looking at Oldhams and Burys pitches on TV they were both mudheaps, if our pitch is worse it must be unplayable |

First game I watched Rochdale was in 1940 when I was 7, I went to the match with 3 schoolmates. First game I remember much about was v Blackpool when we beat them 2-1 and Stanley Mathews was playing and Stan Mortenson, I didnt realise it was the second leg of a cup tie and we lost the first leg I think 4-O |

I think Carl Symonds was the first coloured player to play for the Dale, he didnt play a lot of games, he was the pro for Rochdale CC |

According to channel 5 programme , one of the reasons we are winning at home is the narrow pitch! Our pitch is 76 yds wide , Wembley is 75yds wide, Rochdales pitch is 39 sq yds bigger in area than Wembley! |

I would suggest they get in touch with a ortho molecular Doctor to see if he thought that iv vitamin C would be of use, seeing that great results have been seen on various cancer patients |

I have been a supporter since 1940 and have been used to seeing our best players transferred over the years, but I think this is a bit much for long suffering supporters to swallow, when we are told a week or so before ,that financially we dont need to sell and no one is leaving! Selling to a team one place above us doesnt give the impression that we have much ambition. Maybe if we get Jack O Connell on loan from Brentford it will reduce the depression! |
