Great report. Fantastic game sure to set everyone off talking of world domination next season. Thanks for all the excellent reports again this season Clive. One of the best things about supporting the Rs. |
| News Comment | Chair takes advantage of Rooney's generosity - Report at 13:34:25
Great report, snorting through my lunch hour yet again. This year has been such a lot of entertainment, laughs and horror show, but far more happy times than expected. Definitely worth the entrance fee. I would like to complain about the half time entertainment. Not since the Ashville Aggregates Wheely-Bin Challenge has there been a game so likely to end in a nil-nil draw. 6 kids waste their breath running around the pitch only for some amateur to fail to chip the ball through a hole slightly bigger than the size of the ball at 20 yards. Several times. Someone needs to answer for that. |
| News Comment | Profligate QPR punished by Sarr's sickener - Report at 14:13:39
The end replicated the feeling I had after watching Se7en at Whiteleys and I spent the walk back trying to justify to my two boys why I turned them into Rs fans. However deep within I knew that I couldn't fault anyone on the team and it had been a proper humdinger (bouncing bomb) of a game. Honestly, if you have a team full of mid-table Championship players you've got to expect the strikers to miss the odd sitter and centre-backs to make the odd mistake (in fact they didn't, it was the central midfielder, if you call Cameron's header a mistake). I may well be a dreamer but I am not the only one, and I prefer very much to focus on the entertainment we are serving up this season. And I love Eze, yes I do, but BOS is fast becoming my matador. Totally unplayable when he came on. Happy Christmas to all. Thank you for another great report and a voice of sense. |
| News Comment | Hoos brands UEFA, FIFA “complicit, liars” in racism row — Fans Forum at 13:16:43
Thank you very much for the very detailed summary. It's fantastic to get the insight. It feels like they are being very honest and straightforward with their comments. Supporters need to be equally ready to face reality. For the record, I can vouch for the water pressure in Ellerslie Road gents. I gave it a 4/5 on Trip Advisor. |
| News Comment | QPR click back into gear at Rovers' expense - Report at 13:10:51
Agree with ridethewave - from where I was sitting the penalty looked nailed on. Eze was knocked clean over from behind. They didn't include it in the highlights nor on Quest so it has been wiped from history. Really pleased for BOS, if he becomes a confident finisher everyone will need to look out. I know we're not supposed to talk about defending but I reckon scoring 4 should be top of the game plan each week. |
| News Comment | QPR hold their nerve to settle cup thriller - Report at 11:41:21
Totally agree with qprd on Chair. What was so exciting was every time he picked up the ball it seemed like he had to go forward. It was like there was a magnet in the Loft End (in the second half obvs) |
| News Comment | QPR go three for three at expense of Villa and Terry - Report at 13:30:52
If Groundhog Day was a week, I would pick that one please. BTW - I save your reports for Monday lunchtimes, nadir of the week, thanks for brightening them up, even things ain't so great. PS On MacLaren, if you get the blame when it goes wrong, you are entitled to some of the good stuff too...too soon? |
