Well my old friend, disappointment. It's a while since we've met but we have some grim memories - Milk Cup Final, Cantona's extra time goal, four relegations. And more, so this isn't a surprise and to be honest not as awful as any of them. But the hope, while it lasted, was sweet.

Just one question. Why has Warburton messed around with a back three that has worked so well for us?

Still smarting...as a season ticket holder I probably should have known better to have this down as a "dead cert"...I can see that Sanderson is copping a lot of stick on here, and tbh rightly so for the performance on Saturday. I will temper this by saying that even though he got sent off vs Blackpool he looked immense until that point..pace, power..really raw and just the sort of injection of vitality our back line needed...hindsight specific to Forest and now Peterborough its fair to say he cost us at least 2 maybe 3 goals. There will be a clamour for Barbet to come back in now..with all the frustration of his set pieces and wayward moments,..having said that we need a calm experienced back 3 and may have to sacrifice the energy and enthusiasm. I love chaz but I think he may be done..doesnt look like he's got the fire in the belly...(but lots of pies )..he has had a good career but he shouldnt be keeping players out of the team with that performance. Again I'll caveat that by echoing the head scratching about taking Gray off ! Surely if you're 3 -1 down vs the leakiest defence you just go hell for leather and throw him on alongside Gray..this makes zero sense..i can only think he had a brain fart in the heat of the moment. Hendrick is a luxury player we just dont need..I thought I'd seen the last of players like him when we were last in the prem..not hungry way too comfortable and zero urgency. We wont go up this season I'm afraid, we need to sell 1 major asset and reinvest...
