We won. And nobody played badly. Everyone worked hard. But I can't give higher scores to a midfield and fullbacks that were totally dominated by a poor Cardiff and couldn't manufacture any possession or attacking threat itself.

Wonderful evening but we have to be realistic. We were fortunate that Cardiff with 24 shots didn't find the net and Paul Nardi once again showed he is an excellent signing. For all the stick directed at the summer recruitment Nardi has been good from the beginning.
Oh and did anyone clock that Zan Celar scored his first 2 goals for us? Has to be MotM.
But I expect us to crash down to earth against Watford on Saturday. We'll have had a lot less recovery time and a lot more travelling. Just trying to manage my own expectations.

We won and that is all that really matters, a poor performance in reality though, struggled against a really poor Cardiff side. Went too deep too early in the second half which invited pressure only a mixture of luck and Nardi got us the win.
