I can't think that is very clever management of players who have talent but it seems fragile egos and work ethics
To get players such as the types we have in Dozzell, Willock, Richards, Clarke Salter etc, if you said to them, you don't realise how good you are, as opposed to what Ainsworth is saying to them, you lot you are all shit and we just need finish four off the bottom and then we can move forwards with proper players.
I think this style of management does not work with our squad of players.
Beale bullshitted them into having some belief in their abilities and appreciate people won't like reading this, but that style of management is really required to get this squad to actually work hard.
Not just give them pelters for being crap and for not trying.
Willock I have been kind to and Richards is along these lines too. They both abundantly talented but the effort is appalling.
Chair must be so peed off playing with such men that really don't try.
I hope to be proved wrong next week at Watford.
But Ainsworth mindset I feel sadly for him, because the one good thing about Gareth is he does care, but this mode of motivating intrinsically decent players to perform, isn't saying to them the best we can do with you lot is place one place above relegation.
Normally we peed off aiming for sixteenth!!!
I should imagine Mr Ainsworth is favourite to be first to leave his job in the championship!!
