A few months ago the club requested supporters to nominate songs for the pre match warm up. Now as I love bit of hard rock, I thought Thunderstruck by AC/DC a bit of a rabble rouser of a track. Been early to games quite a few times this season but not heard it then at the Cardiff game low and behold there it was blazing out of the sound system and in the game Cardiff were definately Thunderstruck by a Rampant Rangers. I was a bit later arriving for Swansea so don't know if it was played.Hope they keep playing it and other rock classics before games from now on.

London Calling.
I have noticed increasing examples of "modern" songs being played which are almost lulaby's the effect is a calming almost sleepy sensation, not want you want before kick off
it would be nice to see the actual playlists. we need much more upbeat songs prior to kick off, London Calling is generally player at around 20 to 3 and thats great but it tends to go downhill from there
They should play that "happy" song more often as it brings back the memory and feeling of the play off final
I know the club has to cater to all age groups and tastes but it wouldnt hurt to mix it up a bit more, maybe a bit of Rezillos although obvs not ":Somebodys gonna get"

I always think of the playoff final when I hear that tune.
With hindsight that must have been particularly annoying for old weetabix chops and the other Derby fans making their way out of the ground at that point.
Hilarious for us though.

I think anything Heavy Rock should be reserved for Northern Clubs where that music may still be fashionable.
As a Laandaan club we should be looking for some cutting edge Dance music.
Please feel free to head over to the Frankie thread for hundreds of examples.
London had and still has some of the greatest rock venues in the World. Club always get it right when they play classic Thin Lizzy Boys are Back In Town to recognise the Forever Rss and the 75/76 team celebrations. Hammersmith Odeon just up the road a place where great rock acts like Lizzy made their name.
