Just to explain about the wind - I live in Blackpool so I class myself as an expert !!
The wind was coming from the south west so technically was with us in the first half. This was demonstrated by the Blackpool keeper who tended to kick high and therefore struggled to get distance in the first half. However the exposed North East corner allowed the wind to whip in and certainly blew south at pitch level till at least the half way line where it ran out of steam.
In the second half because we kept it down more it helped us and Rob Green kicks fairly flat anyway so his distance wasn't really affected in the 2nd half.
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean we're not all against you.
