Blackwell wouldn't blame the ref.... on 17:35 - Sep 7 by BigKindo
For not giving enough decisions to his whingers and moaners?
I expect him to say something like 'Today it was harder to play against 10 opponents than it would have been against 11'. As for KH, he'll have to change a winning team next week against Torquay: wonder what he'll do.

Take a look on keithclubline Twitter. You wont believe what he is coming out with...
Him and Bury are a match made in heaven. #revolution
“@Keithclubline: "Hilly had a go at the Ref at Halftime screaming in his face and I think it showed 2nd half. So Hilly has done his job today" KB #buryfc”
Ok, Blackwell can come out and state exactly when and where this happened because all Hill did before they disappeared down the tunnel was wait for the ref and start a normal, calm discussion - the ref was doing most of the talking.
The way bury's players surrounded the referee given half a chance reminded me of Coleman's style of play. The donkey centre half and goalie - who should have been booked for making yellow card gestures - were especially bad. I suppose you need to be good at something though.

Even if Hilly did say something, which decisions went against Bury in the second half anyway?!

He's a joke Blackwell, they lost because they couldn't hit a barn door today. Viva revolution
I didn't think we played well today and were only saved by bury being even worse. That moment where the fella was through on goal from the Grimes pass and instead of having a shot (and from that angle most probably scoring) he inexplicably passed it backwards. bury especially second half were shite and that was even having the ref IMO being far more favourable towards them in his decision making tah towards us. Blackwell can say what he likes his team were utter gash today.

It's possible to play well without creating chance after chance and winning by a few. We managed the game excellently and the players carried out Hill's tactics to perfection after going down to ten men. It's obviously something they practice as the shape and knowledge of individual roles was spot on. To that extent we played very well.
Blackwell's comments are a perfect example of someone constantly trying to divert the blame away from himself.
He can be forgiven for last season as he constantly had to manage with one hand tied behind his back. Now, he's been given free reign to sign whoever he wanted to the extent that he's replacing players that he signed in the Summer. The pressure is on and he knows it. He's got some quality in his squad, but Bury might not see the best out of it until Blackwell is replaced.

I listened to his press conference afterwards and was amazed at his comments it was like something from a sketch show. Before the sketch show I'd spoken to a bury press member and he said bet he blames the ref, it's always the refs fault

Greg Dyke could have edited his speech down to 6 seconds by simply saying........."English football better (then pointing at a picture of JC, KB, Peter Reid etc) pricks like that out of game".
Going to say 7 seconds but didn't want to step on toes of Nena Cherry and Yousson Dour.

He's a Yorkshire Coleman/Bell.

Blackwell's from Luton, Dave.
(Who, ironically, also posts on here)
When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?
