ok the man is a bit of a knob, and maybe he isn't as good as he thinks he is or we hoped he might be,but as i saw it he always put in a shift for us.
i just hope the new boys show as much commitment as joey did.
i may be in the minority but i'd like to see him in the hoops again.
good luck joey.

"commitment" . . . .?
At Man City?
sorry - read the dictionary

Thug yes - that was what he behaved like - plus he lied and said another Rz player said - "take another player with you" when red carded.

Would I like to see him in hoops again - no
Wish him luck as a former R - yes (at the moment)

No good will come of him returning and I foresee him slating the club. If you were upset by Kenny's actions, expect worse from joey

try to remember where we were when he joined us he was our first big name signing (damaged yes) but still a big name followed by swp and anton ,maybe they are all 2nd class premiership players butt at the time they were the best we could get

Now WE are moving on and Joey has a final chance to shine somewhere where he will have a clean slate,if he fails no one to blame upart from himself (again) he he soars then that can only be good for us either coming back here and playing or by being sold for some lolly

I wandered lonely as a Joey,
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
Of QPR and daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along Carlos Tevez Way:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a Barton company:
I gazed--and gazed--but little thought
What wealth that 80 grand had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
I'd punch some fcker in the eye
They flash upon that inward bit
That Balotelli sure is shit;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

Just been a bit on sky on him where he was at pains to thank fernandes and everyone at QPR and wish them all the best for the season. Has also apparently been told by his new teammates that mbia is a fantastic player and believes exciting times ahead for us. I know it's all platitudes but he appears to be trying to say the right things about us now. Maybe trying not to burn his bridges, i appreciate that. Good luck to him, hope it works out there, remember, if it goes tits up he's still ours for another two years

I do wonder whether the comment he later retracted about one of his colleagues telling him to try and take someone with him was actually true.

But, as it was a live game and every angle covered by a camera I wonder whether he was told to retract it to stop My Lord getting done as well - as he appears to be the only one who converses with Barton after the initial Tevez red.

Joey = man city

NO HE DOES NOT

joey = helping keeping us up last year

Love or hate him 1 game does not make him as bad as you make him out to be ( funny how we all forget Adel at Sunderland calling to the bench to sub him or him using his oyster card at Fulham ) yes Barton was a twitter tw at but he was still a good player.

QPR 0 SWANSEA 5

Did we miss him , YES

It's ok to slag a player off but please do it for what he does on the pitch not off it. ( man city was a few seconds of a good season)

Apart from being a bit of a twit ..ter and a few shenanigans at man city what has joey done wrong at rangers ?

Ok maybe not as great as the hype before he arrived but always put a shift in.

If he wasn't "joey Barton" I think people's views would be different

Good luck to him (still a rangers player btw)

And the Liverpool game? and the head but sending off?

And all those naff corners and free kicks?

Mind you SWP made him look real class.

Never a Rz player. Only plays for himself and his 'reputation' such as it is/was.

I agree with what you say, as much as I could I've defended him on this MB but being honest and being at Man City when he got sent off last season done It for me, that was just too much, I was gutted and livid when he got sent off.
What's disappointing is the bloke can actually play football and if he could just keep his head right would be a valuable member of this club.
Yea he had crap day's at work but he had good day's too, who doesn't?

Anyway, good luck to the bloke, we move on, well some of us do.

Remember, he could be back next season.
As part of a cup winning team.

Tevez will never play for City again, you may recall, but he did.
If the lino/ref had seen him kick Barton he never would have again
and none of this would be occuring.

Tevez showed disregard for the fans but plays and scores goals

Barton won't last 45 mins if he plays, he can't control himself, every oppo will wind him up

Is it really likely that the man who calmly walked off at Old Trafford told Barton to hit somebody?

Isn't it much more likely that Barton made up a story to cover up what actually happened, which was that he lost control of himself? It seems that, for whatever reason, Barton would much prefer that people believed that he was trying to be clever (or even that he failed at trying to be clever), rather than that they believed what actually happened, which was that he lost control of himself.

Good Luck to him.

Apart from the City madness, up to that point he was giving 100% and good performances after the Liverpool game.

no disputing he was a bit of a knob; but given his previous that was hardly a shock to anyone.

did as much as anyone to keep us up on the pitch and just a shame that the trial by camera has let tevez off scott free.

doesn't make what Barton did acceptable but just goes to show that some people have their card marked before they even cross the line.
