To be honest, as we live quite close to Crewe, my daughter and I have been to a couple of games when Rs have not being playing/playing on a Sunday....saw them v Swindon and Southend in the 1st leg of the play off semi....Powell didnt do much in either game to be honest, but the Crewe fans all raved about him and constantly sang his name. £4m to Man U was the rumour!

It was an excellent match with some really nice football.

Powell looks a talent, but I liked their refreshing honesty when interviewed afterwards too. He reckoned he just whacked it and got lucky.

Pleased for Crewe, a club with that kind of philosophy and approach should always be admired.
