Am still confident given his past record

We will have a much better idea next Christmas, when he has had a Summer to change things.

His budget will see us about half-way financially comparatively in the League (I guess), so anywhere near play-off contention will be a good job. The other key judgement will be whether we look to have any new players that could command a fee, which is one of the weaker elements of this season.
