I take it every fan wanted Briatore to go because of the merry go round of managers.
We then find an excellent manager that gets us up in one full season. Gets the best out of AT. Shrewd signings like Hill, Derry and Kenny. Has the pulling power to bring in Barton and SWP who obviously also rate him. Has an awful summer but hangs in there.
We are still out the bottom three which is an achievement at this level. He now is trying to get extra quality in to keep us up.
Morons on here want to do a Briatore and sack him, absolute clueless pr***s. So we get a new manager in, he will want to change everything around and so the merry go round starts again.

He and Hill were not average signings, they were fantastic pieces of business as they were bought to get us up. Remember back mate, we would do anything to get up and now we are. I'm sure loads of players in our squad BW wouldn't ideally have at this level but he can't get rid of 20 players in the summer when remember he had no money then. mackie and hill were good signings last season but its not last season anymore and warnocks blind spot for mackie this season over swp is beyond belief and hence this is leading to a lot of frustration for many that i go with | | | |

That's why in May I will be picking up around £10k from the bookies.
That's why when seeing Sol Campbell play at 16 I bet on him playing for full England team.
That's why I was fuming when people wanted IH out cos I thought that was wrong and it was.
Now the same is happening with our s*** ffickle fans with NW. We are a very very small club fighting above our weight. We have a good manager that made our dreams come true. Players like him, our saviour new owners like him and we are not in the bottom three even though his summer preparations were not as planned at all.

I want NW to succeed, I want us to stay up, I dont want another manager if it can be helped.
I agree that we are punching above our weight, I also agree what happened to IH was wrong.
But for me NW keeps getting it wrong and isnt learning from it.
I'm not a gambler but was a semi pro footballer, managed a team to a national final and up until last year coached an under 18's team with an ex Cheltenham Town player. I like to think I know a bit but an Oracle I'm not!

To a point I have to agree freddie I have concerns re NW none useage of subs at critical stages in games but apart from that he will do me.

I agree with the original post . If our fans had protested when the thompsons tried to push Gerry Francis out with the Rodney Marsh incident, we would never have got relegated. We beat liverpool that night then he handed in his resignation. He stayed on for one game , Newcastle away .Did we protest ? put up banners ? did we fcuk . Everyone sat back and let the best manager we could have dreamed of with 12000 gates and no money leave. He could have gone to villa when he came to us, but is a rangers man through and through. Ray wilkins was welcomed like a returning king ,but gradually destroyed that francis team and down we went . I will always blame our support for this and not knowing what they have got or how big we are . After everything Neil Warnock has done for us we owe him at least ,at least,this transfer window to sort this out and to support the team like we did at Man City. |  |

This is the first time I have written but I feel so strongly after yesterday that I have to get it off my chest..... We should have got a result yesterday... full stop, end of story no excuses!!! Yesterday's result is embarrassing and a disgrace!! In our position we need confidence badly and Winning breeds confidence, yesterday was the perfect opportunity to get some!!
We should have had our best possible side selected and done a number on them with time to spare, we then sub and rest our best players when the game was won not make desperate subs to try and change things and get bad injuries when our top player is desperately trying too hard!!
Warnock will always have respect in my eyes and I'm not sure that sacking him his the answer but it's right to start asking questions and doubting his ability at the top level! If you're too afraid to ask questions because of blind faith and loyalty because of his past achievements then we could be in real trouble and you need to wake up and smell the coffee!!!
It pains me to say but it really does look as though Warnock is out of his depth, he just seems to be happy that we're in the Premier League. He has signed better players and we have a better team than most of those around us and definitely better than the two other promoted clubs, we should expect to be above Norwich and Swansea without question. Our current run of form is simply not acceptable!! We can only blame bad luck for so long!!
After our bright start when we looked very confident and created chances, we have plummeted off a cliff and Warnocks tactics, substitutions, constant team shuffling have left me with more questions than answers.
I'm not suggesting that Bothroyd or Campbell are the solution but I know for certain that if strikers do not get any kind of run in a team, are continuously getting subbed, play with a different partner every game and have to listen to their manager and motivator publicly talk about desperately needing new strikers....... they will definitely not be in a good space to put any chances away that come there way!!!..... I don't see how this is good management???
I only hope that yesterday's late equaliser will change the momentum of our whole season but our current form will certainly not help our attracting of new players and we're off to a side that just put Utd away with ease in their last league match!!
I'm not giving up hope yet but I think it's fair to ask the questions. Yesterday was a disgrace..... no excuses!

I agree to a point, I definitely don't think we have the divine right to beat anybody and I'm actually happy that we are 4th from bottom because I would have accepted that in Aug.
But I am really worried about our form and run and because of that we should have really gone it for it yesterday and yes I absolutey expect us to beat any League 1 side! if we were professional and went for it, we should have been comfortable, FA CUP or not.
