Some of you might think you're smart and informed enough to argue with NASA. Not me.

"Since the pre-industrial period, human activities are estimated to have increased Earth’s global average temperature by about 1 degree Celsius (1.8 degrees Fahrenheit), a number that is currently increasing by more than 0.2 degrees Celsius (0.36 degrees Fahrenheit) per decade. The current warming trend is unequivocally the result of human activity since the 1950s and is proceeding at an unprecedented rate over millennia."

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist… oh wait.

While not wanting to start another back and forth with Hud - and we've discussed the issue of climate change very amicably offline - I must restate that it is a proven scientific fact that CO2 and other gases emitted by humans burning fossil fuels causes the climate to warm. This was discovered at the end of the 19th century and has been repeatedly tested and confirmed.

The scientific consensus is that increasing greenhouse gases are warming the planet as explained in this simple article by NASA: https://climate.nasa.gov/causes.amp

EDIT: just seen kensalriser got there before me!

I am probably wrong but I really don't remember humidity in this country before 1990. I had been to the far east before then and experienced it but not here. I remember being at work sometime in 1990, everyone felt hot, we opened the windows and it made little difference. Placed an order for fans.

You look at a forecast now and it's always there, 90% tonight.
