Obviously I wasn't being 100% serious and following on from the original poster but yeah, it's a bit weird that a ship can hit another ship while the ship is anchored.

The ship that is hit being one carrying fuel for the US military, the ship that caused the accident being captained by a Russian.

I would have thought an accident like this would be virtually impossible given the technology onboard.


ah, so it's the captain that's Russian? OK, didn't know that yesterday!

But yes, in the current climate having a ship captained by a Russian and hitting a stationary ship containing fuel for the US military does look suss but proving it's intentional could be hard, if it was.

I'm sorry, I don't really understand your argument.

If my car has failed the MOT so I leave it parked up in the middle of field but someone manages to cross through the field ignoring any warning systems and plough into the side of my car it's not really my fault despite my car failing a safety check.


Is this a ten minute argument or the full half hour ?
