My (our) last experience of pre-match hospitality earlier in the season was pretty poor. I won't regurgitate the reasons why but it did need flagging up at the time. We again booked into hospitality today and the difference was chalk and cheese, it was really good value for money and a excellent afternoon. The tables were properly dressed and created a good first impression. The carvery meal was one of the best I've tasted, very well cooked and hot, everybody on our table thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Great staff also and that includes those behind the bar. We look forward to our next booking on Easter Monday. I also had a chat with the Co- Chairman Simon Gauge and we managed to move on from what has been a very stressful last few years, one that has cost him far more money than me to be fair. We also won 4-1 so it's been a good day.

I hope they served up more than chalk and cheese for someone dressed as well as you were...

Glad you noticed, not getting out much these days so made a effort.

Spoke to someone after the game who also was very impressed with the carvery meal.

That and witnessing again Ryan East’s role as a right-hand side quarterback appear to have been some of the day’s highlights!

Great stuff TS, that’s good to hear. Refreshing that Simon had a chat in person rather than the path others would choose to take in such a situation.

“He was deliberately misleading the EFL”
