Haha very good.

Epsom. My senior railcard gets it down to £5.80 or at least it was until yesterday when Ghengis pushed it up to £6.10.

Nice one Steve

Funnily enough on Sat I bumped into a fellow R who boarded at Epsom as I came through from the end of the line. We're a rare breed in that part of the world!

Ferry and car. But it has to come with a visit to the family. Recently, it's been 1 game per season. +QPR+ to follow home and away.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the Earth all one's lifetime." Usually a walk to the living room to turn on QPR+

Otherwise its a flight from Barcelona which I can't do very often. Occasionally though when we are playing away in some northern backwater, it would be cheaper for me to get there flying than it would for those of you coming on the train from London!

Train from Purley to Claaam Junction.
Overground to Shepherds Bush.
10 minute walk to the Weld.
Can get a train at 12 and be in the Weld before 1pm.
At zero cost now due to being an old sod

That's mad. I always assumed you'd set off ages before me but no; your 15 mile journey on public transport takes the same time as my 5 mile one.

A34 North from Wantage to the Oxford bloody ring road.
North to the A40--M40.

Or south on the A34 from Wantage to Newbury Junction 13 M4.

Got caught last season coming home, diverted of the M4 through Henley and got home just after 1.15 am.

Since I've moved back to London I've tried to walk it more often than not.

That used to be a full stretch along the Regent's Canal from Camden Town tube to Old Oak (via the new monkey cage at London Zoo and Little Venice in the Paddington basin), then down across the Scrubs and the Westway.

Now it's across Wandsworth Common up to the river near Clapham, then along the river to the Putney tube bridge, through Bishop's Park and along the Thames up to the Dove, then through Ravenscourt Park. About 2 hours 15 mins so if I leave here at 7.15 I'm in the Bush with breakfast in front of me just after 930. Great way to start the weekend, weather allowing.
