I'm sure a post of this nature has been done before.

But as QPR fans we more or less have roots to West London and its suburbs.

Which Schools did you all go to? Fond memories etc or the contrary?.

I went Douay Martyrs in Ickenham, had no other choice due to moving to the area.... not a fan of the school but the time of my teen hood was okay and I had a laugh.

Interested to hear bout everyone else's schools.

Blimey, I also went to Douay!

I'm going back next week to do a careers talk, which I guess you wouldn't do if you hated the place or your time there. Alas, my year are having a meeting in July, but I can't make it.

Barnhill Secondary - 79-84 Grange Park 73-79.

From memory quite a lot of QPR in Barnhill but also Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool.

Smells like a trout farm in here

Grew up in the concrete metropolis that is Thamesmead , SE London, after being born in Stoke Newington.
Went to Parkway Primary and then Bexley/Erith Tech. Hated all of it, aside from a mate Colin who was also an R at BETHS.

Grew up on the White City estate.

Went to a kindergarden/junior school there now called the Beresford early years centre and the to St Stephens on the Uxbridge road, until my parents moved to Kent when I was about 7/8 I think.

There was a fire in Phipps house, we moved around that time, would have been about 1983/4

Why Pinner, you're a Wembley man. You were close, and close in age to Graham (longtime Clacton now), did you know him?

I can remember a Graham Kennedy and Graham Sharpe from Copland. Can't think of any other Grahams. Yes, originally a Cricklewood man until 1956, then a Wembley man in Brent Way, Monks Park.

St Andrews Infants school, Belton Road, Willesden.
St Andrews Junior schools, St Andrews Road, Willesden.
John Kelly Secondary Modern school, Crest Road, Neasden.

So far as I know only the infant school survives with a change of name to St Andrews and St Francis.

Latchmere school in Battersea until we moved to leafy Roehampton, and then I went to Danebury primary school.
I went to Elliot secondary School at the top of Putney hill in 1972 and spent 6 happy years there until they forced me to leave and get a job.Unfortunately there were loads of chelshite fans at the school, but they were going bust and constantly flirting with relegation at the time so I did sometimes have a bit of trouble with the knuckle draggers over comments made.Mostly on Mondays for some strange reason.
