Quality of finishing made the difference - ref bottled sending Choudhury off for that foul on Saito - definitely should have been a 2nd yellow. Also, gave them all the decisions where he wasn't sure and in the last 20 mins, every time they hit the floor, it was a free kick.

Unfortunately we just can't seem to draw a game. Having pulled it back to 2-1 in successive games it is annoying not to have saved one of these games like we did at Brammall Lane. The reality is we have now lost five of the last seven games and not having players to convert the chances we create leaves us frustrated even when we play well. |  | | |

'Squared it to Furlong, should have..' sorry wrong decade. But yes the one more on to Yang was the sensible option, young lad rush of blood wanting to prove himself perhaps and the blocked shot was going well wide, lesson (hopefully) learnt.
They punished our mistake for the first goal, their second was a wonder strike. Beyond that, they didn’t create much. We pushed but were wasteful snapping at our chances, and after we did score, they shut us down well.
Overall a decent performence against a likely promoted team, with playoffs now fading i'd now like to see our own lads step in for Edwards & Yang + give Walsh some playing time as he's learning nothing on the bench. |  | | |

Gutted to lose to that but thought we were painfully naive at both ends of the pitch and any team with good players, even if they’re poor on any given day, tends to win games it shouldn’t. We can't go down a goal to sides like Sheff Utd, it is then a slog to get back into the game. They won't do much if they get promoted, we need to tighten up our mistakes. Overall we are a decent Championship team but unlikely to challenge for a top 6 with the team we have, still a bit lightweight and have been for a few seasons, but better than last season overall. | | | |

I'm not usually a fan of Mad Jack McMad but I thought he was very good today. There were a few times across the game when he made a point of talking to players like Yang, not digging them out but doing a, sort of, on field coaching thing. Lot of respect for that and it shows another quality he brings to the side. | |

Almost pine for the good old days when we gave up all our goals in the seconds before half time now its as you say VancouverHoop early in both halves.
Are we not motivated running out or can other teams make better adjustements but either way today and against Portsmouth the game was lost 5 minutes after half time.
Had to pull my hair out again we had a perfect spot for a free kick (should have been a second yellow for SU) and Chair or Paal proceeded to blast it against their wall resulting in a fast break chance which we barely survived .
Frustrating to lose 2-1 again but the urgency and decision making late on was pretty miserable IMO |  | | |
