Lionesses last night 10:07 - Feb 27 with 364 views | TheChef | Our youngest's football club was offering free tickets for the match last night at Wembley so I took him along. Hadn't been before for a Lionesses game but we really enjoyed it - atmosphere much more chilled and less aggy than for mens' matches. The game itself took a little while to get going but once it did it was really good; Spain probably still wondering how they lost given all the chances to score they passed up. Also given the smaller crowds (well, 46,000...), getting back to Wembley Park was a doddle and we were on the Jubilee line by 10.10. We'll definitely be coming back!

Lionesses last night on 11:59 - Feb 27 with 223 views | stowmarketrange | My daughter and I have been to around 10-12 lionesses games and the atmosphere is totally different to watching a men’s game, especially at Wembley. The crowds are a little quiet at times and the Mexican waves are a bit much sometimes. We had planned to go to the last home game in May,but my daughter is on holiday that week,so we’ll have to save it until Switzerland in July. Glad you both enjoyed it,and pleased to see that you’ll go back again. And it was a great result against the World Cup winners.
