Anyone remember the friendly policeman of a highish rank indiscriminately go in and just grab people and throw them out. Stood on the top of the loft steps. Might have had ginger hair.

Didn’t like being sung about.😃

What was/is the name of the big fella with the sideburns who was always on the away day train?

As well as Daphne there was always two other blokes - Mick as mentioned earlier and another one with bushy eyebrows. Both used to wear sheepskin coats. Admittedly everyone else did then as well though!

In a similar report on QPR Arne Scheie interviwed Dave Clement. He rolled up in his Morris Marina it was a super thing to watch. Later Arne told me they paid Clement the pristine sum of £5 for the effort.............

Funny to hear what sounds like 'Derby Aggro' at a game v Sunderland.

A real gem this. Interesting views from Brian Moore and Jimmy Hill. Both full of praise for us and our 'continental' brand of football. Frank McLintock and Gerry both very articulate. Incredible that Frank was working up to 4 nights a week in his pub whilst playing First Division football too! Mind you, also hard to believe that this is all now nearly half a century ago!

Great film never seen that before.

Disappointed I didn't catch a glimpse of myself but recognised loads of characters from that era. Remember the club shop just like that, and the tea bar at the corner of the Loft.

Nostalgia indeed. I miss Seeing Stan, sad knowing I'll never bump into him on South Africa Road again before a game. We all owe that man a drink.
