What's the latest on him? Are we going to see him back before the end of the season to power us to promotion?

I'm also wondering what the last comment was on Celar's injury. He was undoubtedly better in those 2 or 3 games - seriously unlucky timing.

That ball the young Korean lad played into Chair for his second would have been ideal for Celar - could see those two combining quite well if he gets back before the end of the season.

You are joking. Cellar’s general positioning is awful. He would have been nowhere near the cross.

the issue is with celar is he dosnt like the lone striker role , wont do the hard work needed when playing one up front , actually have no idea why he was brought in as he dosnt fit the way we are playing in anyway , if we can off load in the summer and follow whoever scouts for boro around as they seem to be able to find the type of strikers we want for way less money.

I much prefer Kolli and Lloyd upfront. I wouldn't want to hurt their development by putting Celar back in the rotation. Kolli and Lloyd give us much more movement and we need to support the youth

'Support the youth? Why, I remember when the youth supported us! They would bow or curtsey if they saw us in the street, or offer us a golden feather, which was the style st the time..."

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

Joking? You mean like I'm a clown? I amuse you? How the fcuk am I funny?

My point is Celar is a player who seems to want or expect the ball to be played into a particular spot.

Loads of times earlier in the season with Smyth's crosses it wasn't where Celar wanted or expected it and it just flew across goal. To be honest in those situations I had them both at fault but far more so Celar as time went on.

Smyth has improved on that, but the ball the Korean lad played into Chair was done with real precision I thought - and he looked up a couple of times on his way into the box. I think that could suit Celar's style of play - while accepting he still has a lot of work to do as far as looking like he can consistently play at the required level.

It will suit his style. I sit in the Upper Loft, right behind the goal. Celar was making runs, and you could see what he wanted and where, but the ball was never delivered. A big culprit was Cook, several times he just didn't see the run, or when he did it was over hit.
With a ball playing centre back, hello Edwards, that is a great ball to play. Along the ground bypassing the midfield completely.

To be fair to Ashby, he was playing that ball to Celar a lot, pretty much the only one

Just wondering if you fellas who feel Celar being (almost) a flop is due to the service he was getting also felt the same about Conor Washington?

Celar never ever looked happy here.
Maybe there is a player / striker in there and maybe he’d settle and be a success in another part of Europe in a less competitive league.
Maybe, just maybe, he’ll fully recover and become a scoring legend here as we Marti our way to a promotion.

As we hurtle rapidly down the back nine of the season I think we can say that, overall, the transfer dealings the club made were “okay”. Probably more successes than flops but, the three really poor signings ended up being probably the most expensive ones.
Madsen and Celar look pound for pound terrible investments and whatever Ashby is costing a week is money we may has well of set fire to.

I think we’ll recoup something on Celar, hopefully he’s agent isn’t called Josef Fritzle, as he is after all an international etc

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

My feelings mirror many if yours.

I'd like the bloke to be a success but he probably won't.

He never looked happy til he scored.

Well the good thing I guess is that Madsen, Celar etc have agents good enough to get QPR to bite on the transfer fee/contract required to get them here...

I’m still reserving judgment on Celar until I see him play in this team rather than the bunch of clowns he was having to play with at the start of the season. Those 2 finishes he got were decent and give me hope.

I think confidence is a massive factor. I think you could see a noticeable improvement in his performance and effort after he scored his first goal. The team he played in was totally devoid of any confidence. I think there is a player there and I think had this been a fully fit and firing team at the start of the season he may have looked totally different. He certainly has lots to prove though
