Match Thread: Blackburn tonight on 21:49 - Feb 4 by ted_hendrix | Look after yourself Mate, like you I'm laid up just now, had major surgery last Monday, I'm all over the place but slowly on the mend at home. If ever I needed a tonic look what our club does for us. Take It easy. |
All the best Ted glad the lads gave you a tonic
Match Thread: Blackburn tonight on 21:54 - Feb 4 with 2138 views | derbyhoop | As expected Blackburn came back into it 2nd half, but Rangers did more than enough. If we'd been 2 up at HT it would have been a lot more comfortable. Edwards looks classy, Chair back to form, Frey led the line well. Add in Saito and Smyth out wide and we offer many threats . 13th and only 3 off the playoff places, albeit having played an extra game and a crappy GD.

Match Thread: Blackburn tonight on 21:54 - Feb 4 with 2113 views | PhilmyRs | Edwards looks a player. You do wonder how he’s not been considered for the Southampton team. Their loss and all that. Thought we deserved that and good to see Chair have a good game in that role. Getting 3 from Saito, Smyth, Chair, Dembele and the spurs loan to play off Frey will make us a much more dangerous team and give us useful options from the bench.
Match Thread: Blackburn tonight on 21:55 - Feb 4 with 2096 views | Beckenhamhoop | Thought having just Morgan and Field in the deeper mf positions seemed to quicken up our play. We were much more offensive, especially in the first half.

I like that the team are showing a real desire to win games and now have a belief in their ability to do so. Well done Rangers, great result tonight!
Match Thread: Blackburn tonight on 22:07 - Feb 4 with 1682 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | Good result, and deserved. Thought Edwards, Chair and Frey were very good. Only negative tonight was I thought we panicked a bit when the ball went into the box. Cook giving the ball away way too much. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Match Thread: Blackburn tonight on 22:07 - Feb 4 with 1674 views | hubble | If I had one word to describe that match, I'd say: refreshing. How refreshing was it to see us monstering the fookin Roverrrs? How refreshing was it to see how much those players cared? When Frey did that counter-pressing charge at the end of the 1st half and then geed up the crowd. That was fantastic. Loved the way we fought our way back into that game second half and boy I enjoyed Colback's goal... All very refreshing. [Post edited 4 Feb 22:15]

Get well soon Ted happy Rangers pulled it out to cheer you up. I hope you stayed calm as we wasted chance after chance and I wont mention our corners or Paal who is just not skilled enough to deliver even a second ball. Chair should have had a hattrick IMO but he looked up for it tonight finally. Saito will be relieved we got the winner he is getting outmuscled all the time but has a good engine. The new Korean kid was not great tonight in his few minutes he could have pressed way more but kept falling back but he was probably over awed a bit . Great winner from Jack because we were not getting that pretty clear penalty from the ref .Another ref keeping yellow cards in his pocket against us

Get well soon Ted. I like the direction of this club. Nourry has taken a shed load of stick but you can start to see what the longterm plan is and it's playing matches no later than 7.45pm because half the side has got to be in bed by 10.

Match Thread: Blackburn tonight on 22:36 - Feb 4 with 1089 views | sdm1508 | Thought Morgan looked a little off the pace tonight. Not a criticism as I doubt he thought he would be a first team regular already. Maybe a break needed. Field and Varane with Chair in and around. Thought Chair in the middle was a success tonight. Allows him to go either side of the pitch and some great passing from him. Looking good and a strong solid bench with players still missing JCS and Dembele still to come back

Match Thread: Blackburn tonight on 22:49 - Feb 4 with 945 views | HAYESBOY | Chair looked reinvigorated playing at 10. Edwards just class tonight. I have said before I would like to see a 3 behind the striker of Saito Chair and Smyth. Thought as an attacking 3 they looked dabgerous. Great win and deserved. Should of been 3 up at half time. If everyone now stays fit, we could be in contention for a top 6 finish. March though is a really tough month. U R'sss.

Match Thread: Blackburn tonight on 23:03 - Feb 4 with 826 views | ManinBlack | Closer game than it should have been as once again we squandered good chances so the nerves start jangling when only a goal in it towards the end. Still any win over jinx club Blackburn has to be savoured.
