Don’t see the negatives. Chair is either not fully fit or just not at his best. Smyth is being run into the ground and picking up knocks. Lloyd is apparently more of a striker now and Ashby is about as reliable as my first car so it’s an option for the bench most likely and probably an improvement on Bennie for that role. |
Pretty much how I see it. On paper it's an 18 year old kid with minimal pro appearances that we have no hope of signing permanentl, but as you've said, this feels more like another body that adds to the forward options. We're also desperate for pace and direct running, something that only Smyth does consistently and that alone makes him look like a world beater in this league.
I'm fine with it. Worse case we have a warm body that can cover multiple positions, best case we have a wonderkid for 6 months. |  |

We won't have an option to buy. Spurs only just got him, he arrived a couple of weeks ago. Spurs see him as a player for the future.
I am guessing we will be paying very little for him in terms of wages, if at all. They need the player bedding in to England, he is still taking English lessons according to an article I read.

Don't forget we have Dembele coming back in a few weeks. For the wide positions, we have 4 good players in Chair, Smyth, Saito and Dembele so I don't see the need for this loan. |

Great video. Very clever from the media team. Should be seeing a few Korean fans down the Bush now until the end of the season. Remember when we had Park and we had hundreds of Koreans at many of our games. We’re not far from New Malden either which I’m sure will add a few to the gate for home games. He only just joined from the K League so my guess is that Tottenham want to send him out on loan to get experience.
Also, I personally see Dembele being more effective in the 10 rather than as a winger, so i can see why we wanted him to have another option on the right with Smyth.
I do think we need another left back given our only natural options there are Paal and Fox. |
