I’ve not seen him live other than a few online clips and most notable his performance angainst Arsenal. A few rumours of interest from the big boys, is he our stand out prospect with potential to work his way up into the first team in the next year or two and if so will we be able to hold onto him?
Would love to know what type of player he is from anyone who watches the games live?
Says a lot if we can fend off this competition and keep him at the club. Sounds like he'll be in the first team very soon.
TBR Football understands that despite the interest from Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City, Newcastle and Brighton in securing Sutton’s services, he is close to penning his first professional contract with the London-based club.
Furthermore, the Englishman is also close to getting a look-in as a first-team player in Marti Cifuentes’ squad.
I could be very wrong but at least one person congratulated him on already signing that pro deal a few weeks back! So might well be another announcement being saved for the right moment
Congratulations to Emmerson Sutton on signing his first pro contract with @QPR knew he be some player after seeing him play at @hanwelltownfc will look forward to seeing you play in the blue and white hoops 💙🤍 pic.twitter.com/bC4kRXlrjI
Let's just give the youngster time to grow and develop as a player and not hype him, or some of the other promising youngsters, as potentially being the next big thing.
It's way too early, but if the story is accurate, it's good to read that he has chosen to develop further at our club rather than get swallowed up and then forgotten/wasted at one of those puppy farms.

Come for the announcement, stay for the Nourryspeak - He's actually said something normal for once.
QPR CEO Christian Nourry added: “We’re delighted to kick off the next round of professional deals for our academy boys with Emmerson’s signing today.
“Emmerson is a dangerous and exciting attacker whose level of physicality has much improved over the last six months, which owes a lot to his loan spell at Hanwell and significant minutes with the Development Squad so far this season.”
It's absolutely fantastic that a young guy with obvious promise wants to stay after all the ones that fled. I think it's a bit to do with the Ebs legacy. However this guy progresses it's good news!
