Hopefully he sees this as a long(ish) term project, that will not only increase his stock holding, but will enable us to build a system around the young players that have been shining so brightly for him.
he's an intelligent, effective strategist - I'm sure he won't be swayed by the idea of a quick fit pay packet.

I think that was the turning point of our season.A lot of other teamâs fans wouldâve been calling for the manager to go but the support he received in that 2nd half seems to have been the catalyst for the upturn.Long may it continue. | | | |

At the minute 6th spot is on 42 points from 28 games, which is a points per game of 1.5, equating to 69 points over a full season. That feels very low for 6th in a normal season. Nevertheless, letâs follow the logic and say â70â for 6th.
Means we would need 32 points from 18. PPG of 1.78. Basically 11 points every 6 games (gets us to 71).
Thatâs tough. Itâs still very unlikely.
All that said, keep this momentum up over the next 6 games and the amount required will drop for the last 12, when the big teams will all be under greater pressure to get results and hold onto automatic promotion. |  | | |
