Good to see the club rewarding youngsters who've taken their chance. As he readily admits, he's far from the finished article but the potential is there for all to see. Congrats Alfie!

Christian Nourry says 'Alfie is an inquisitive little owl with an unquenchable thirst for football knowledge and a way of playing the game that is very much akin to the writing abilities of Wordsworth, Wilde, Shakespeare and big Sam Allardyce.'
If anyone didn’t already love this lad then how can you not after watching this interview. Let’s hope he can fulfil his dreams. I’m sure it won’t be through lack of trying!

Great news. I like the lad and his cameo against Luton was very enjoyable and unlucky at the same time. What I’ve seen of him I’d rather have him than Sinclair Armstrong. Sinclair was nothing more than a battering fan on speed. Lloyd has much more to his game.

All day long. I never rated Armstrong, either for his footballing ability or his attitude.

Thought he showed a bit more of a developed game against Luton than he has in the past - hopefully signs of some growing experience and coaching paying off. He's nowhere near ready to be a first choice lone striker in this league, but he might yet become one if he keeps improving.

I've been fairly underwhelmed by Lloydd, he never seems to be completely in control of the ball. However, against Luton I thought he was very good, using his pace and energy to help push Luton back. Should of got 2 goals mind. Really hope he can push on. Just surprised we haven't seen him used as in the wide positions as he has pace to burn like BOS.

Don't you feel like Rangers is a happy club, these days? It feels like a happy club to me.
I think it’s great to see these young lads starting out in the game and doing well. Some of their interviews are so honest and enthusiastic it makes you laugh. Like you’ve said, this must permeate through the club with senior players being pleased for the kids and generally there’s just a good vibe. Now that we’re all experiencing this it brings it home just how much this aspect of football has been completely absent from the club for years and years.
