Absolutely stupid changing the goalkeeper, putting in a loanee for his first start in central defence, and a player who can't play into the heart of midfield, for a one-chance game like this. And, yes, I (mostly) like Marti and support the team.

They've gone to the pub.

Left behind a tape recorder and a loudspeaker.

Well, no needs for subs now, no sense in risking injuries, for fcuk’s sake we could have taken this match

You’ve got five subs to play with. Can easily afford to hook Ashby and Madsen at half time with the options he has.

Can't see anything....call it off

Marti should have put on Smyth, Dunne and Morgan he obviously doesn't want to be in the cup. Shame really.

IMO Smythe and Morgan should be back in London with their feet up .

Just saying it’s beyond blatantly obvious they are not real squad options and purchases needed…

We can send Ashby back to where he came from...but who would want to take Madsen off our hands? Probably need another body in the middle of the pitch before Jan ends. RB a real essential now. The gap between average Championship sides and average Prem ones...is stark today unfortunately.

Really poor defending, and, whilst we were the better side for about 20 minutes, the amount of times we've given it away (Ashby in particular) means little complaint. That being said, with the amount of injuries we've had - and the obvious lack of depth at full back / CB - I can't blame Marti for his lack of subs in this one.

disappointing. We've played pretty well and done ourselves credit, score is incredibly harsh.

Not a good day for Ashby, I think/hope this was last chance saloon for he and Madsen

Things haven't gone quite as well as we'd hoped.

In that case, why not do a Warburton, go the whole hog, and not name subs at all?

I'm expecting Dixon-Bonner and Lloyd on soon.

We all hate that we are losing but most of the time you sound like you like it as it proves your opinion right. Do every body a favour on here and have a day off. We know you don't like Marti and will use anything to beat the team down.

How did Ashby get a PL contract? How did Madsen manage to be a professional footballer?

Doesn't Colback need minutes anyway? I don't get it now.

very tough when 5-2 down, doubt ref abandons it now . looks like cup defeat 52 coming up but mistakes cost us, lively first half . great support.

5 goals from only 5 shots on target from 5 errors.

Incredibly harsh score line but a huge lesson to be learned.

“Take care of the football” as Mark Warburton would say every 10 mins . But he was right
