The club are down the swanny, and Eze would be a breath of fresh air and could see himself getting game time there as things currently stand, otherwise would only move sideways in terms of club potential.

They’ll be on the look out as De Bruyne will be off, Grealish hasn’t changed his spots and Lewis is far inferior.
I’d imagine he’d go for more than £64Mill then (which is good for us and our 20%) plus he’ll have a better chance of winning top honours with City’s level of financial doping (which is good for him).
Spurs is a move I’d recommend for him purely based on geography, nothing else [Post edited 3 Jan 9:03]

IF they see Eze as a potential replacement for De Bruyne, then I think they should move for him now.
De Bruyne probably isn't a 90 minute player anymore, so Eze could be his substitute and could rotate with him.
It would give Eze time to adapt and time to learn from De Bruyne.
Their squad needs a refresh and Eze should give them a lift. It may even push them towards CL qualification.
I believe he's reached a stage at Palace, where it's only going to regress and he should move on for a new and bigger challenge. | | | |

I think Eze is a better player than Maddison, albeit perhaps not quite as consistent.
For me with top (top) players around him, he could play for anyone, including the 'top' clubs.
And that's without me blue-and-white specs on. |  |

Eze is not going get much playing time at bigger clubs than Palace.
At Palace, he is the main man and it's where he lived as a child.
I think he is a home boy in that sense but added to the fact he is the big fish in the small pond at Palace, if he moves elsewhere in the premier league, he would be a small fish in a big pond. And to me, I think even if another club offer him much improved financial terms, I don't think he would go.
Therefore, the transfer has to meet the release clause.
£64 million.
I don't think he is worth that price currently.
As for being a replacement for De Bruyne. Think that's very rose coloured specs...
He is a great player, but De Bruyne is world class. Eze is a fringe squad player for England at best. | |
