Who do we reckon goes down from this stage?

Obviously all up for grabs and so much can change - Incredibly Luton looking worrying at the moment, but can't see it happening.

QPR survival needs about 1 point per game from here on out (50 pts) which is incredible seeing where we were a month ago.

I still think stoke despite getting Robins in, he’s got to hit the ground running.

Never entered my head, our squad is far too good to be anything but a top 10 team.......we suffered very badly from injuries to key players at difficult times, too many good characters in the squad & hard workers in the squad as well. Plus, or course, the Manager and his team.

Plymouth will be goners this year I'd say. Paying the price of Wayne Rooney for half a year.

Hard to call the other two places. Would have said Oxford but an excellent new manager bounce and Rowett is a decent coach. Both Cardiff and Hull theoretically have the quality to pull clear but equally either could go on a long winless run.

Won't be us anyway!

I’ll go Plymouth, Oxford and Cardiff.

Absolutely no room for complacency. We could easily go on a six match losing run and find ourselves right back in it.

The thing that strikes me about the table at the moment is that, in terms of points, no one (even Plymouth) is cut adrift.

yeah we still have work to do to make sure we don't get dragged back into it
I think Millwall might end up in trouble

Exactly the same as last season. About 10 teams still in the mix currently... including us.

In February last season, a Brum "friend" in a whatsapp group we're in said "who are you tracking lads" (as in "what team" are we chasing down to get to safety?!). They were relatively comfortable in mid-table at the time.

Look what happend to us and them by May! Things can change...quickly! And whilst I'm quietly confident we'll be ok, it's waaaaaaaay too early for anyone to assume that we're safe already!

Hope: Cardiff, Stoke and Luton (Although Cardiff especially are good for 3 points away)
Expectation: Plymouth, Cardiff and Oxford.

Gotta a sneaky feeling Derby get dragged into it.

Exactly. Just at is was ridiculous a couple of months ago to say "we are definitely down", then similarly anything is still possible for the rest of the season. There are 63 points still available!

It's nice to be picking up points on a regular basis though, gives us some future leeway.

I think the same and really hope that is the case. I had a conversation walking away from our defeat there earlier this season with a particularly smug Derby fan. He kept saying how poor we were and at that time they were about 8 points above us. I told him to see where we both were in a few months time and I am delighted to see them two points below us already.

To be fair to us LFW-ers, the team seemed entirely broken at that point.

Fking QPR though, they put you through it and then come good. The punchy husband buying you a dozen roses once your ribs heal.

Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

I was also thinking Derby. They haven’t got money to spend and I believe are still operating under a FL financial plan. They certainly aren’t heading in the right direction lately.

Hmmmm, tough one to call. Still a long way to go and clubs can still nosedive or climb over the next few months.

Chelsea aside I don’t really hate any club but I do have a tingling for Derby.
There’s something about them that makes them think they are some kind of big club.
They’re not, they really aren’t.
A purple patch in the early-mid 70’s….tier 2 champions in ‘87, that’s it.
Since then we have been League title runners up, FA Cup finalists, League Cup finalists, League cup semi finalists and 2nd tier champions twice.
They really do have a superiority complex when they are no bigger or better than loads of other clubs.

So, I hope they go down

I can't believe that anyone thinks we are safe and not just because that saying that is as unwise as posting that we had done the double over Norwich before the game against them had ended.

The bottom 3 will be Plymouth plus any two of the eleven teams currently in the bottom half. Looking at the other teams on 29 points, I can't see Millwall, Coventry or Preston going down but I don't look at us the same way for the simple reason that we are QPR and anything is possible.

I too have a hunch that Derby might go down. I thought they looked very basic when we played them but we gifted them the 3 points. I also think Oxford might drop, despite their recent bounce, as they looked dreadful against us.

Cardiff and Hull are the other teams looking most vulnerable, but I think Portsmouth will pull away from trouble and I just can't see Luton or Stoke going down.

Suffering since 1978.

It's a really tough call looking at that table.

Hull's new boss has a big month coming up - us, Stoke, Millwall, Cardiff.

Stoke I'm fascinated by. Arguably the division's best striker and goalkeeper. They look awful every time I watch them. I'm wondering if this Robins appointment isn't the sure bet it seems without Viveash at his side.

I can't believe that Oxford team we saw has now won three in a row. I still think they'll go. Always follow the money. Same with Plymouth.

You don't want to be the lower midtable side that gets in a Birmingham-like run of form and can't get out of it. We've still got to be so wary that's not us. When Jimmy Dunne went down yesterday with what looked a dislocated shoulder the world fell out of my ars.

So difficult to say at this point. Derby definitely get dragged into this, Millwall probably do too. Preston another one who could be in a bit of bother on the basis that we could easily be!

How the fu(k Oxford have any points is beyond me!!!!

They are the worst team I have seen at HQ in years and years and years.

Still think they will go down with Hull and Plymouth.

Would love to see Cardiff and Luton go!

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!

You're probably right on Oxford - their impressive three wins have come against Plymouth, Cardiff and Millwall, so maybe not so impressive.

I'm going with Plymouth and Oxford with Derby to get dragged in, but in reality the entire bottom half is vulnerable (I don't see anyone in the top half getting into trouble).

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

We're sixth favourites with the bookies, at shorter odds than Stoke, Luton and Derby. The best odds available for us are 6/1 while Coventry, also on 29 points, can be found at 80/1 with the same bookies!

On a brighter note we are also 6/1 to finish in the top half and those odds are coming in, whereas our relegation odds are drifting.

Suffering since 1978.
