Christmas Games a great test 12:27 - Dec 23 with 769 views

The next 3 (Swans a, Norwich a and Watford h) should really tell us if we are going top be safely ensconced in mind table this season.
All 3 having the sort of season we thought we should be having. If we are picking up 4 points from those games I think it's a great sign for the future

I think we could harvest a few more points than 4 from these games. I've got a good feeling about Norwich away; they're in poor form and Swansea are so, so at best. I'm hoping for a very un-QPR Christmas and 5 or 6 points.

I'm just a bit concerned that Norwich are going to be particularly galvinised for our match there. We made them look very average in the second half at LR and they blame us seemingly for their ill-discipline against us (Gunn and McLean both got retrospective bans - with the latter back just in time to play against us - sigh). I think they may have to change how they deal with Smyth as he ran their leftback ragged and Sainz provided zero cover.

I'm more optimistic about Swansea. We did well against them last season.

Very fair point nix, but I still fancy a happy Rs team against grumpy budgies. Let's hope we get a decent ref though.

Are Norwich & Watford any better now than when we played them recently? The three matches are no easier/harder than what we have faced in our seven match unbeaten run.

Of course, we may lose all three games, but we are equally capable of winning any/all of them.

I'd be delighted with 3 points from those three games anything else will be a bonus anything less and we will be back to looking over our shoulder.

4 points, a boxing day WIN!! Little possession, little Swansea threat but sneak a 1-0. Saito.
2 or 3-0 defeat to Norwich, they will be right up for it because we are their biggest rivals of all time now. Grasses, snitches etc. They also won't be as poor, they did create chances against us too, unlike Preston.
Draw against Watford after a busy festive period, 3 game week usuals.

Just booked tickets for the Watford game so, naturally, desperate for a win on that one. Will be me & the kids first game of the season and apart from Preston some 18 months ago, we've have not seen a home win in multiple visits (sorry, I'm not a jinx, promise, we've had such shite form the last couple of years)
