Very disappointing. Played well and should have gone ahead, then faded and terribly unlucky to lose Cook of all people and concede as a result of it.
We'll do well to get something out of this. Need some leaders to step up as Cook with be out for a long time.

If it's an achiles rupture it's highly unlikely he'll be back this season.

Paal misses an open goal. Yet I scapegoat him. Useless t0sser. Saito well off it; doesn't like the physical attention. Cook damaged leading to the only time we looked in danger and, naturally they scored. Woodman's worldy (because of course - he will never do a Dykes here again). Kolli running gamely, but up against it. We're playing ok, but look totally devoid when we get to their third. Jimmy Dunne header still the most likely.

Yeah, Cook was just bloody awful luck, however, why are we playing toblerone football (unsuccessfully i may add) in our back third of the pitch.
I'm soiling myself every time we pass it about at the back.

One of the only players we could not afford to lose and not just the cruel injury but giving up the goal rubs salt into the wound .Best wishes to SC its a year out at least I fear .

2 jimmy Dunne headers (one he should have scored ) is all we have its not close to good enough.

Considering we're at home and up against one of the slowest backlines in the league, our inability to get the likes of Smyth and Saito on the ball and in behind to any notable effect is both baffling and infuriating. Varane also seems to have retreated to some kind of sweeper, while making Field occasionally chase balls down the line and into the corners is an exercise in futility. It's not very inspiring, is it?
They've had one shot on goal, and scored with it, and so have we, and we haven't.
