New Year transfer window rumours 23:44 - Dec 17 with 113415 viewsbosh67

QPR WANT NORWEGIAN FUTURE STAR
According to news outlets in Norway, QPR are interested in signing Tromso striker Lasse Nordas. Lasse is only 22 yet has heavily impressed during his career in Norway so far. He has featured for the Norway U21s on several occasions netting 3.
This season, he has 13 goal contributions within 28 games in the Eliteserien. He also netted 2 goals within the UECL qualifiers.
Valued at £1.5million, QPR are not the only club interested.

What's that Lasse? Someone's fallen down a well and you haven't scored a goal in 4 games?

Never knowingly right.

Manchester City's spending this window up to about £180m.

Dear me.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

On a side note these little video clips , by all clubs make me squirm, including ours.

The Burnley one with Ross from friends literally wants to make me vomit blood

Burnley are the absolute worst with it, I despise it. I guess there must be people who love it

Maybe that's why we've been able to sign him.
Very strange to wait till 11pm though. Pandering to the Sky overlords I guess. A bit pathetic that

A good window overall though. Plenty of young talent and we've kept Jimmy.

Only at Rangers.

For the full-on Rangers experience he'd be out for the rest of the season but we'd have got him on loan.

And not a penny spent in England.
Because their industrial puppy farming complex can snaffle any emerging young talent for free.
I would love to see a projection of the careers of young players in the premiership academies - how many have decent careers now, how many would have if their was more 'natural selection' at a young age, with many of the kids playing 3 yard passes in the sanctified climes of the academies instead ploughing a furrow for their local teams.
And how much more money would flow down the leagues if that actually happened.
Britain's 'soft power' 🤔

Yeah. Off the top of my head these puppy farms seem to benefit the elite - your Cole Palmers - who are likely to break into the first team of these puppy farm clubs. But not much anything below that who just seem to miss out on the chance of regular men's football for one club which can really develop them e.g. Ashby.

This has been a strange January transfer window for us. We were quick out of the blocks - unusual in itself - with a CB on loan from Soton. Then nothing until the last few days when we get another loan - a Spuds lad who's just arrived from South Korea. In the last minutes of the window we have a young Brazilian that Barca wanted, and a player from North Battersea, who is crocked for the rest of the season and who last season was managed by the most hated ex-R in the history of our club.

Dixon-Bonner is a good example. He's probably got more years then professional football appearances.

And yet, I still fancy we'd depart the Etihad with at the very least a point and a clean sheet.

Odd one out competition for four recent signings.

Edwards, Morgan, Vale, O’Brien.

Vale. The others are sporting a middle parting whereas Harvey has a departing middle.

Yes, spot on. Very neat and tidy but doesn't seem to have much dynamism. He plays like he's not that fussed about winning or losing.

I find him really frustrating, because he has got talent.
But he's 24, probably a professional for 7 years, on pro pay for 7 years, 4 or 5 of those at Liverpool.
I don't think that helps.

West London Sport said we were trying to sort a loan out for EDB but there were no takers which isn’t good.

I had no idea he had a youth career at Liverpool!

He's a strange one, I've always thought he's looked neat and tidy when he's played, could probably do a job in a lower Championship or an L1 team; and yet the current manager clearly doesn't fancy him so why hasn't he looked elsewhere or even taken a loan if offered?

Does anyone know what happened to Timothy Akindileni from Aberdeen? One rag reckons we signed him - but nothing on offish.
