I've had the same issue for years and years, also on the forum pages.
In the forum I think it happens when there is a long line of text when someone posts a url and it somehow breaks the formatting on the page so that images from the right panel overlap with text in the centre. |  | | |

Loftboy, I have the same on my iPad when using the Apple browser particularly when resizing the page. I installed the Chrome browser and all was fine so it looks like some incompatibility with the site code and that browser implementation. |  | | |
