Best Sunday carvery on 15:34 - Nov 21 by controversial_jack | The Ynyscedwyn arms and the Aubrey in Ystradgynlais do good ones |
Ynyscedwyn Arms has gone down hill since they changed chefs, and I wouldn't cross the road to eat at the Aubrey Arms (and I live literaly across the road) as the food is crap. The George is head and shoulders above the other two.

It's not so good now as it's a Marsdens, but still very good. We had one in the Aubrey and it was very good. Neither of them are the cheap option they once were, but that's the same for most restaurants. It's why we rarely eat out, it's no longer good value

Best Sunday carvery on 20:06 - Nov 17 by majorraglan | The Bridgend Inn in Llangennech has a good reputation. We went there a couple of months ago, food was very good but it was really busy, far too busy for my liking. |
The food is very good indeed- I go there often from Swansea. They must make a lot of money there as the carvery runs through from 12-9 pm!

Fantastic food. Full as a bull. Fresh, hot, beef melted in your mouth. Staff very nice. Clean place. 10/10

Best Sunday carvery on 22:11 - Nov 24 with 130 views | Dr_Winston | I believe that the people who own the George also own the Old Glais. Have had a carvery there and it was OK. Probably quite good for people more enthusiastic about Carveries than I am.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |
