Yes, she is still around, suffering from vascular dementia. When I heard the news I immediately thought how awful and distressing it will be for her. Very sad

Sad news. They were both excellent actors. She was brilliant as Basil's wife in Fawlty Towers and I loved his portrayal of Edward VII in the ITV series of the 70s. Would love to see that again. |  | | |

That was a great show, i thought Timothy would outlive Pru, but alas the gods proved me wrong.

Saddened to hear this earlier, and I don't normally get sad about celebrities passing.
Like others, though, I loved watching him and Pru meandering down canals. Such a lovely couple and such a lovely programme. God, he loved her!
