Best of luck to him. Have to be honest and say I held him in such high esteem before he became manger at QPR but now I'm not sure. I expected more honesty and less David Brent style BS from him. It was the first time in 40 or so years I actually lost interest in the club during his tenure and was waiting for him to be sacked to give us some hope.

Yeh, it was disappointing. He was way out of his depth though.

Occasional providers of half decent House music.

In light of our current position, I can’t bring myself to talk badly about Ainsworth’s time here. Same goes for Ferdinand actually.

Good luck to him. We may meet next season.

Yeh good luck to him. Out of his depth here, but a good guy.
Would love to see him happy and successful again., It was horrible watching what our job did to him.

I think most managers would be out if their depth here, such is the continual mess created by the board/owners with their terrible decision making

I wish him well in his new job. He's a good guy and we'll always have great memories of his time with us as a player, especially the day at Rushden & Diamonds!

Best of luck to him, but do yourself a favour Gareth, leave the rock star outfit in the wardrobe for Saturday night and just wear a tracksuit for the match. That look grated just as much as the football on display.

I do notice that Wycombe are now top of division 1.
Just saying.

Matt Bloomfield is doing a great job and was heavily linked with Coventry.

Ainsworth is doing well with a ghastly Shrewsbury squad, and already loved by their fans. Their PPG was about 0.55 when he took over, and it is at 1.20 since, including wins over high flying Birmingham and Wrexham.

I still think it is a long shot for him to close the gap, and they have a brutal January, but I think it shows that his strengths work better at L1 and L2 level than the Champo, and nothing wrong with that.

Ultimately, trying to implement his style at QPR sounded like trying to stage a rock concert with a group of depressed ballerinas.
